EO Escape Rooms: Scarlet

Kelly’s rooms are always great (everything is designed in house), and it’s a shame Scarlet is closing as we had an awesome time playing it. As always the tech is on point, though this room is more padlock heavy than some of her others, and the theming was great. Can definitely be played with two, but inexperienced players might benefit from having three or four. Recommended!

It's such a shame this room is being retired!! There are several unique puzzles, and the theming is *chefs kiss*. The team at EO have done a great job with the set build, and puzzle design, and there's several elements you won't see anywhere else. A really clever room that I'd encourage everyone to play before it's gone! 

This was our third room of the day and possibly my favourite of the 3, although they were all fantastic. This was so much fun and had extra elements other than just puzzles (we definitely wished we had the children with us in here). Fab hosting, really clever puzzles and amazing theming again. We can't wait to go back and attempt the other rooms!

Just finished this room with 22.59 remaining! Genuinely an unmissable room, lots of locks and puzzles and loads to do. This is the 4th room at EO that we have done and this is probably our favourite room of all time. Hosts are great also. Scarlett closes in Sept so if you haven't done it yet, make sure to do so before you miss out on a great room! 

This was our first game we played at EO and we knew we were onto something special! A really well designed room - great theming, interesting puzzles and an interesting story. One puzzle that I've not seen in another room to this day! Definitely worth playing any game here.

Scarlet was a blast! The room had cool jungle vibes, and the puzzles were like a treasure hunt for our feathered friend. Our game guide, Kelly, was really great, making the whole adventure even more fun. Five stars for a really good room mixing logical puzzles with skill tasks.

Another amazing room from EO. Very well thought out and great fun. We've played a lot of games and EO have some of our favourite rooms! The story was great and well worth a play.

Scarlet is a staple at EO and the room I tell everyone to play if they are new to escape rooms. It's very straightforward but definitely NOT boring! It's an incredible looking room with amazing puzzles

Loved this game - was one of the first games I played and got me hooked! Clever and fun set, with amazing decoration and lots of interactive fun puzzles

Played scarlet with my dad and some family friends. It was our friends first ever escape room they enjoyed it loads and said they would definitely go back! Scarlet very unique and very interesting puzzles !

What a brilliant game, think escape room with a touch of crystal maze. 

For padlock lovers this game is for you!

Once again a beautifully designed game that makes you feel like you are in the rainforest with game play that just makes sense

This was our first visit to EO and we were not disappointed! Greeted with a smiling Kelly and had a lovely chat before heading into Scarlet! Boy there is a lot to do in this game but it delivers everything an escape room enthusiast could look for! Brimming with puzzles, beautifully decorated and designed room and some great finds along the way! The extra 10 minute token puzzles is something we have never seen before and a great idea to bring into a game to add some diversity to your normal escape room! Can’t speak highly enough of EO! If you haven’t been you must go!

Another excellent room, with great theming and a lovely family-friendly story.  

Gorgeous puzzles and a lovely balance between padlocks and physical elements. Lots to do so organisation is key. There were so many unique and fun elements that we kept discussing on our long drive home. You can really see the playful storyline and design that has gone into this room. Everything makes perfect sense so the game flow is spot on. 

Fun, yet slightly overwhelming to begin, room with lots of mechanical physical elements and a huge variety of puzzles. As with the other games at this venue, great well built games with excellent hosting.

Scarlet the parrot has been stolen, we need to rescue him!  Once again, the environment was well themed and the puzzles were all point.  There were a couple of dexterity based puzzles and good communication is required at one point but once again this is a brilliant game with some great and clever moments.

I love EO games. Original and clearly designed by enthusiasts! 

Amazing hosting.

This was our first game at EO and we really enjoyed it. Lots of people recommended this room to us and we were not disappointed. There was a good mix of physical and traditional escape room puzzles which we enjoyed. The game had a good flow and was a fun storyline. Kelly (GM and owner) and her team that created the room deserve a lot of praise. For a game with a lot of mechanical elements, everything worked as it should.

We decided to stop off to play Scarlet as we made our way back home and boy was it worth it!

An original theme and beautiful room, combined with excellent puzzles, both logical and physical. 

GM Kelly was amazing, couldn't have asked for much more!

Puzzels felt fresh and we only need a pointer or two to keep us on the right track.

Fabulous hosting from EO with assistance to find a slot we could do while being child free! 

Really enjoyed the different puzzles and props. Think would have been slightly easier with a third person on a couple of things.

Really fun room though and we are waiting for friends to visit so we can do more of the rooms!

Very nicely themed room. We played with four and we had plenty to do. 

This is a new venue in an out of the way town, but it is worth the trip. Absolutely loved both games we played there and had a great chat with the owner/game designer. EO have chosen to go absolutely full in with quantity of puzzles so that enthusiasts do not run out of things to do, and it does not disappoint. Original story, excellent use of space, a real joy of a game to play.
