This had been on the list for a while and I always worry when I have high expectations but the hype is thoroughly deserved! Honestly this is probably the best themed room I’ve done, loved it all. Loves the way to get help/clues changing, loves the puzzles , loved the tech involved. Loved it was non linear so we could split up a little to tackle the many puzzles! Definitely spent longer on some that shouldn’t have been time consuming and then flew through some others. We like to make the most of a room and don’t rush out  and this room had so much to do and look at

Hosting brilliant too, just fan and worth a trip. We will be back for the other room!!!

Really enjoyed this room. Played as two adults and 12 yr old. Nice theming, puzzles that just made sense to me! I’ve enjoyed all the rooms at Keylock we’ve played so far and look forward to future ones. Always fab hosting too.

We really enjoyed this room! Fab hosting, interesting story and quirky room. Got on really well with the puzzles and had lots of fun.

I really loved the puzzles in this room but there just wasn’t enough for us to do. Think this is the quickest escape room we’ve done anywhere and it was such a shame as the puzzles we did and the theming was good but we just got through them too quick as a group of six (4 adults and 2 12 yr olds)  would have loved  to have a bit more to do! 

Room 3 of our Loughborough break escape room. This was our favourite and the trickiest. Some unique puzzles in here and liked the theming.

Lovely theming. But we had a couple of issues (I think we had something open far too early but we played the puzzles anyway ) it’s  a pretty room and some good puzzles   We found all the extra time too. It’s a pretty room but not too challenging but a good range of puzzles.

We enjoyed this room, took me to the end to realise there were no padlocks! Good theming , relevant puzzles and fab hosting.

This was our final room at EO with their current sets. I found this a really fun themed room.  Definitely a nice way to spend the afternoon in a colourful musical environment.  Fab hosting as always and we can’t wait to be back.

I put off doing this room as wasn’t sure how I would be in a scary room. But I should have trusted the fab team at EO to put a wonderful room together that was the right mixture of puzzles, story and a little bit of a jump but nothing that worried me! I was so immersed in the story and the puzzles and how clever the room was.  We clicked with the puzzles and came out full of smiles! 

What a fabulous game with so much to keep us busy but still work together. Haven’t done many rooms where you’re collecting the guns rather than trying to escape. This is based around collecting valuables from vaults. Lots of fun. We did have a small issue with one of the locks and I think we’d have done even more if hadn’t spent time on something (involved a dart board and a dart wasn’t in the correct place so we couldn’t get the right code) . Glad we did this room as a larger group (sometimes we play as a three and others with another 3) a really good mixture of puzzles and lots to keep you busy. 

Our second visit to Keylock Games and really enjoyed the theming of this game. We split into pairs to tackle the puzzles which worked well. We got stuck on something that we really shouldn’t have (I blame it being New Year’s Day after a late New Year’s Eve). Really enjoyed the friendly hosting and chat pre/post game.

Our third Christmas room this year and loving that there’s been no over lap of puzzles or theming. We really enjoyed our time in the magic star and there was plenty to keep us busy.  Great theming and puzzles and the hosting was fab too!

Our first room at Keylock games but will definitely be backs we clicked with every puzzle in here and had a successful escape time whilst enjoying the theming!

Really fab Christmas room.

What would we do at Christmas without an EO escape room featuring Joey!?! We love the Christmas rooms here and particularly love a collection room. There was so much to do and great theming and puzzles. Another fab EO room!

We love our visits to EO and was happy to have Kelly hosting us this evening. This was such a lovely room and everything just makes sense and has some really lovely touches. Lots for all of us to get on with and great theming. Our 11 yr old in particular loved the EO experience. We look forward to our next visit!

Really enjoyed the theming of this room and the soundtrack! One member of team was distracted by all the films working out if had seen them or not 🤣

Played as two adults and a 11yr old, puzzles all made sense. We breezed through the start then got stuck on some things by over complicating them!  A good room for all abilities and probably all ages but def has the vibe for those that can remember Saturday nights choosing films !

This room is closing shortly and I’m not sure why it took us so long to play it. So much fun and lots for us to do including the ten year old with us.  Love the puzzles and hosting at EO. Always recommended as a great location to visit. Kodi was a fab GM today.

I really didn’t know what to expect from the arcade but we loved it. Two adults two children (12/11) a good mix of physical game type rooms  and logic. We got 11 rooms done and would definitely go back to do some more. Lots of fun and well organised.

As a group of 6 (4 adults and 2 tweens) we really enjoyed the theming of this room. Puzzles all made sense and kept us busy. Designed to be able to take larger groups with a fun bit of energy needed at the very end.

We love EO Escape rooms and this one was just perfect. Lots of puzzles to save the elf’s but they all made sense and we could be working on different puzzles at the same time. Loved the theming, the humour and the game.

Really enjoyed this room. Good theming, decoration and lovely puzzles. Just a real feel good room. Hosting was lovely and friendly. Highly recommend a visit! Nice location for a wander around the city of Ely too. 

I was looking for a compact fun room and hit gold with Principal escape rooms. Loved the theming of mystery at the museum and some really clever puzzles. It all just made sense and we had fun playing this one. Great hosting and we did a second room after that was fabulous too. Team of two adults and a 10 year old who has done multiple rooms. 

Enjoyed the theming of this one. Played as two adults and a ten year old, all played 20+ games which does mean sometimes we look for a more complicated answer to a puzzle than needed.

Good mixture of puzzles, needed one clue right at the end when we’d exhausted all we could think of and had missed something that was a clever use of props. 

My third Tulleys game but first at Hatton. Really enjoyed this theming and so much to do and really original puzzles. Great hosting by Dee. Good for us as four adults and two children. Just escaped!!

Really enjoyed this Christmas room. Lots to do and everything made sense and was fun to complete. Fab hosting from Kelly as always. Would definitely recommend this room

We’ve done the majority of Cluetopia rooms and wasn’t disappointed by this one. Great hosting by Nathan and a lovely colourful room with good theming. Some very funny moments (mostly caused by us) but was nice to have a room where we didn’t feel stressed and genuinely laughed and had fun through it.

Another family friendly room and enjoyed it with my 9yr old but couple of puzzles that how to do the sneer was trickier than working out the answer. Some ideas I hadn’t seen before mixed in with easy ones for the younger player 

A quick and free online room which we did enjoy. This would be a good intro to rooms for younger players. Nice theming.

Lovely theming, fun and different puzzles and really enjoyed this room and location.

My 9yr old loves the theming of this room. I think a great family or first room. We still really enjoyed it as it’s so colourful and fun and some great puzzles.

Played this online with my 9yr old to get our brains working before visiting escape rooms tomorrow.  

We’ve now played all the prestige online games, good use of telescape and nice rooms. Had one bit in this room where we had tried to use a key a few times but it didn’t seem to work till after I used a clue and did the same thing. Nice theming and I expect was a good first room for people when it was in person. 

We enjoyed this as a Christmas escape room. Kept the younger ones busy and the snow machine was fun 

Played as four adults and two kids (9&10) really enjoyed the non padlock idea. Quite a linear room to start annd everything made sense and we enjoyed the puzzles and was kept busy right to the end. Nice theming and fab hosting.

This was the online I’ve played a couple of the other online rooms and wanted to try this one. My normal at home digital partner didn’t want to invade it was creepy (he is only 9) and it is a teeny tiny bit but he would have been fine.

I like the digital games based on real rooms. The clue system works well here and I did have to use it. Overall an enjoyable game with good theming

Such a fun room, lots to keep us busy with the best soundtrack and some really fun puzzles.

Hosting was outstanding as always!

Played this as was looking for an online room to play with my 8yr old and everything else was too spooky for him apparently! 

I wasn’t disappointed though and it was good fun. We didn’t need too much help but was thankful that there is help available.

Was a very well put together room and now a visit to the Brunel Museum has been requested ! 

I didn’t realise I should have paused the game when we had our  dinner so by the time I finished it said 3hrs 57 but we definitely wasn’t there that long 😂

Another visit to Cluetopia as a family - 2 adults and one 8 year old.  We hadn’t done a Christmas theme before and loved the theming. There was plenty our son worked out by himself though he has done a lot of rooms and some ideas behind the puzzles we’re familiar. I believe there are two versions of the game and our progress meant we did the expert level, so we were all very pleased with the time we took. Really enjoyable and fabulous hosting as always.

Our 2nd room at Tulleys. Very colourful and clever puzzles. But we found it quite stressful for some reason!! Think that was more us as a team than representative of the room. 

First attempt at the Dodge room. Really enjoyed the theming here. There is so so so much to do but a very fun room. We spent far too long at the very beginning and only got about 75% through on first attempt.

But we loved it so used the 50% return offer and went back the next day. Still got a bit stuck on one of the new puzzles but made it out with just under 20mins to go on the 2nd attempt! 

Really enjoyed this game, such an amazing location and hosting. The game itself is really high energy - we’ll for a team of two anyway. High quality decoration and games and a good mix of padlocks and other puzzles.  Will definitely be back for the other rooms
