For such a small play space there is so much packed into this room. A beautiful set, great mix of logic, observation and some twists on more standard puzzle styles. Easily my favourite at this venue!

Lovely festive game with some quirky little moments throughout and really appreciated the thought that went into the festive prize for completing!  

An enjoyable game with lots to do! Lovely festive nods throughout the game and a decent mixture of puzzle difficulties. 

A slightly different take on the 'cash grab' style of game as technically you're aiming to make the room as empty as possible. Each of the puzzles in this game relates to a present for a child somewhere in the world and it is your job to make sure that the right present gets sent to the right child. Huge variety of puzzles and a great mixture of difficulty levels too. We were chuffed to have finished everything with literally 1 second left on the clock! As always another excellent game from PerpleXed!

For a Christmas themed game this had lots of clever elements and some unique puzzles that creatively used the materials available. Thoroughly enjoyed and set a new record too!

Loved the way that they've incorporated the tech into this game and how it interacted with one puzzle in particular. Small play space but lots to do in the time!

Some really clever uses of tech in this game that I hadn't seen / didn't know about before! It's a duel objective game but both are perfectly manageable within the time. Puzzle quality was as good as ever!

Now quite an old game but still lots of fun to play. Really enjoyed the final end to the narrative for this game!

Great variety of puzzles and some fun takes on classic styles that you might have seen before

Love a collect as much as you can game and enjoyed finding some of the sneaky hiding spots for the tokens! We finished with 37/40 points and were pretty chuffed with that! Great puzzles and lots of creativity and love has gone into building it. Easily my favourite at this venue!

Absolutely loads to do in this game to achieve all 8 runes. Really enjoyed the step up in build quality and more novel ways of entering solutions in this game. Some quite tough puzzles which had very satisfying aha moments when we finally made the links!

Lots of fun, clever puzzles and a really good set. Atmospheric lighting helped set the mood and torches were on hand if needed. 

Such fun, loved all of the silliness throughout the game and the cleverness / variety of puzzles too!

A great take on a classic theme. Loved the layout of this game and how it helped with the immersion. Great variety of puzzles and a satisfying ending (although could’ve been amped up a bit!)

Thoroughly enjoyed this! Loved all of the nods to the film and the sheer joy in discovering parts of the game. Puzzles were good and varied and were quite tricky in places too

A very clever concept and with good puzzles to go with it. I hated the GM style in this game to the point where I wanted to stop playing. Every minute we’d get a chime in with some belittling comment about how rubbish we were and it just made everything so deflating.

Impressive space with lots of interesting and different elements to discover. Really enjoyed the variety of puzzles and the fact that it was quite tricky too. If the room was brighter this would have been a 4.5* game as we were often having to get people to double check locks / shine light!

Similar in concept to the challenge arcades that seem to be popping up more often now. 6 challenges across 6 different rooms to complete with a fun multi choice quiz as a breather between rooms. Extremely physical but lots of fun even if it is knackering!

Lots of fun and lots to do within this game! Great variety of puzzles with a focus on observation, logic and maths (yay!). Again a great sense of progress and cool to see the development in build quality from the two games. 

For an old game there were some really nice puzzles in here. Good sense of exploration and a nice story to go with it!

Nice route and a fun story to go with it. Parts of the mechanic felt repetitive towards the end but still lots of fun!

Some clever puzzles in here and also a few that felt ambiguous / time wasters. 

Really enjoyed the first 3/4 of the game as the puzzles were interesting, great use of tech and physical elements. The last part felt a bit tedious and just for sucking away time.

A lot packed in to such a small play space and everything flowed so smoothly throughout. On the harder end for the games at this venue as there are more multilayered elements but this gave way to great aha moments!

Jam packed full of puzzles! Loved the sense of clear progress throughout and the lots of cute, fun little puzzles throughout. Definitely as others have said play part 1 and 2 back to back to get the full effect.

Even though this game is a step away from the theme of WW2 all of the Escape Plan trademarks are still there - beautiful mechanical puzzles, great theming, story and clever puzzles! Such a fun game and lots of clever moments throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Loved the ending to this game so much, pure chaos but was so much fun! Great puzzles all linked perfectly to the theme and there was some great subtle things to notice within them. Fun mix of more video game style, observation and logic too. Really recommend going before they close for good

Such fun from start to finish- lots of unique elements and some moments that allowed you to release the inner child! Felt super immersed from the moment we set aboard and loved how all the puzzles made sense to where we were / what we were doing. Easily my favourite at this venue and one of the better games I’ve done in a while!

An enjoyable exploration around Broadstairs and learned a few interesting facts as we went round. Very easy in terms of puzzle content but I enjoyed the fact that we had physical items to use / interact with on the way round (even if they didn’t always work!)

Whilst not the hardest of games, I really enjoyed the sets and how they brought to life the horrible histories books. The time zones gradually got harder and had some really satisfying and funny moments. The voiceover between each space was very annoying and probably the only thing I didn’t like about the room

Classic prison game with everything you’d expect from it 

Great setting and some clever puzzles with twists on themes you might have seen before. Huge playing space with a very clear goal that gives a clear idea of what’s left to do at each stage. Probably my favourite of the 3 at this venue!

Great concept and puzzles to go with it. The majority of the game is spent split up which is great for communication puzzles but also felt like it went on a bit too long. As always with Cluetopia, lots of fun and quirky elements to discover too. 

Like a trip down memory lane - loved all of the nods to Blockbuster processes, the jingles, the types of film you could rent etc. Some really clever and tricky puzzles within this one that gave some great aha moments throughout. One (arguably two) puzzles towards the game required external knowledge which felt unfair if you're either of a certain age or not a fan of the required area (luckily we knew it but felt a bit out of place). Otherwise, another excellent game from Cluetopia!

Really enjoyed the start of this game and the creativity of the puzzles that we encountered. Whilst the room is designed to be scary (a few jump scares that can be toned down based on the group) there was definitely enough time given to the puzzles. Another enjoyable experience at Cluetopia!

Finally a game where I was able to follow the story with ease! Normally find that the story is either an after thought or too complicated / long to follow when you’re distracted by puzzles but this really isn’t the case here. Loved having the narrator join us on our quest and how all of the puzzles made perfect sense with the theme and helped to progress the story. Quite a tricky game with lots of subtle clues and clever ideas (personally found it harder than the 5/5 difficulty game at this venue but each to their own!). Go play!

Lots of really fun elements in this game and it flowed really well too. Unique and well-written puzzles made for an enjoyable experience. The two games at Cluetopia Walton are really lovely, go play!
