Played in beta-testing so some things may change: nicely built room and a good amount of puzzles within the time frame, we enjoyed the room (two adults and a 10 year old) 

Of note, it is listed as 4+ but is eminently doable with 3 (and probably 2) - not the case with their other 4 person room the Mayan temple, which does require 4 people to make the puzzles work. 

This is without a doubt a brilliantly odd game. I was keen to play from seeing how little most reviews of this game gave away, and given the previously high Terpeca rankings, despite being a general "scary room coward". Unsurprisingly, "The End" starts with a funeral parlour and a coffin and then... it goes in a direction that I would be amazed if anyone can predict. At times scary, at times funny, at times thrilling, and the whole experience tied together by a live actor who is a crucial part of the story. Fantastically weird and I loved it. 

As a non-horror lover, I did not end up finding this game that scary (less so than Honeymoon Hotel at the same venue in fact) and if the horror tag puts you off, it is worth persevering with the initial scary moments as the game is in fact very manageable and the pay off is worth it. 

DarkPark's oldest offering at this venue - it has a suitably "classic" escape room feel with quite a few puzzles and rooms to work through. Although there is no live actor, they do ramp up the tension and consequently I did find there was a couple of moments where I was indeed scared. Managed to solve one puzzle entirely by accident (and from speaking to the host afterwards it is a puzzle that people struggle with, so perhaps not a bad thing). I was certainly keen to work to escape within the time limit by the end! Given it is a few years old, it has stood the test of time well. 

This game is an absolute joy of a room from beginning to end. Full of little details, the costumes are a nice touch, the owners continue to improve the room where they see tweaks are needed. I really enjoyed how your decisions affect the gameplay. Superb. 

It is hard to go into a game like The Dome without having high expectations. Suffice to say, the experience is intense and the storyline is off the wall. There is a LOT to do and it would be better in a group larger than two. We indicated to the host we wanted to finish given it would not be possible to come back to replay and he successfully did this with a few nudges (38 seconds to spare!). I have only one complaint which is that in one room we got completely stuck on one puzzle and I felt I spent quite a lot of time alone in a room not being able to progress anything and thus getting frustrated with both my teammate and myself as we could not find a good way to communicate - intentional on the part of the room design I think but it was frustrating and took away from an otherwise good experience. There were some amazing moments in terms of set changes.  Other people may not run into the same stumbling block (especially with a larger team) and can't really disagree with anyone else in terms of saying this is a must play game. 

Relatively old and subsequently classic escape room experience, creepy rather than scary. Had a huge tech fail which prevented us from completing any puzzles in one room and was not picked up on by the GM until after we "failed" the game. Given that, they then did reset the issue and allowed us to go back and finish the room, but immersion somewhat broken at that point. I would recommend the other two games at this venue but would probably skip this one at its current price point unless you can get a midweek discount. 

Really fun game with some excellent utilisation of the live actor, and some great use of the monastery spaces. It is a huge shame that they are being forced to close this game for redevelopment of the site.  

Different theme, set in a (real life) old monastery. Couple of jump scares included! Hosting in theme and was well done. Enjoyable puzzles - not the top game of the Netherlands, but enjoyable and it was nice to have a more puzzly room than some of the others are. 

Prison themed game, excellent intro and hosting and a couple of cool moments; for me, I did find some of the puzzles did not make sense. Enjoyed the chat afterwards with the owner and demonstration of some of the tech that makes the room work. 

Great room with fantastic realistic but creepy set and good puzzles. Clear flow and story. Had an unfortunately tech failure mid game which they were very apologetic about, did not detract from the quality of the game. Owner chatty and showed us how some of the design worked after the game. 

Huge beautiful set with plenty of puzzles. Story is bonkers and a couple of the puzzles are perhaps a little questionable but an unmissable game to play if making a trip to the Netherlands. No live actor so would rate as creepy rather than scary. 

Absolutely amazing game, with so many wow moments I almost lost track. Beautiful set and high quality construction. A real 120 minute journey. Hosted by one of the owners, who was lovely, and who paid close attention to us during the game both in terms of gentle hints (clever use of lighting) and in terms of making some puzzles more accessible when struggling to read in dark areas. Creepy rather than scary. One of my favourite games to date, and my favourite game in the Netherlands so far - highlight of our trip. 

90 minute room which had just opened the week of our trip over to the Netherlands. You can see the owner has poured a huge amount of work and love into this game and fitted it into a very clever little footprint. One puzzle didn't quite make sense for me but bar that it was great fun - recommended. 

Had such fun playing this game, where you get to cosplay being a firefighter. Really enjoyable and a great host. 

Heist game - an older room so it definitely has a "classic escape room" feel to it, but we had a good time and would recommend playing if already at this venue to play their other two games (Pray the best, followed by Here I am). 

Set build very high quality and live actor definitely adds to the atmosphere. Feels like a real journey. Overall more creepy than scary. A busy game for a 2 person team although just got through in the end (with a little help). One puzzle in particular was an absolute joy. Only downside was struggling to do a couple of the puzzles due to being far away and low lighting (no option to adjust lighting during game). Enjoyable ending and enjoyed having a chat with the owners at the end of the game. 

Older game at this venue so less impressive than the newer game we played, but would still definitely recommend - good fun with creepy theme throughout. 

Excellent example of a prison game done well, exciting throughout with just the right amount of puzzling. 

More creepy than scary with a few dark moments thrown in. A fun adventure! 

The set for this game is absolutely wonderful - the amount of time and effort that must have gone into this game to make it look how it does must have been immense. There are several "wow" moments along the way. The hint system is well integrated when needed. 

It is not scary so does tick "family-friendly" as a box but I wouldn't recommend it as a family game - some of the puzzles are trickier and were therefore not so accessible to younger participants (age 10 and 13 in our case). However, there were other moments they enjoyed, but they did not rate this game as highly as some of the more adrenaline fuelled ones we played in Benelux. 

My only criticism is that it is very dark in places, and we were unable to read some of the required information - it would be really helpful if some kind of light were provided for this. 

This was a real gem, that we ended up playing by accident (it happened to be across the road from our accommodation). Great old barrack space which they use the setting for; enjoyable storyline and satisfying puzzles which kept us busy as a two until the last few minutes of the game. 

Older but still enjoyable offering from Escape Rush with a very cool and unseen elsewhere set. We struggled to get going at the beginning and got a bit frustrated one one puzzle, but got smoother in the second half. 

Great set and hosting at an easily accessible venue in Brussels. Some of the puzzles were not so hard, but overall there is plenty to do and definitely recommend if in the city. 

Unexpected storyline with lots to do within a beautiful set. Lovely host and some clever moments - really enjoyable, and would recommend. 

Original story with expansive set. Some unusual puzzles we have not come across before and plenty to do in the time allotted. My only complaint the amount of crawling, but worth doing to experience this great game! 

Great set build and plenty to do, with expanding storyline as you go through. Very exciting ending - thoroughly recommend this game! 

Petite but enjoyable room, which included one unexpected ER experience I had not come across before. 

Enjoyable puzzles with an intense ending; GM managed with an unexpected tech failure almost seamlessly. Good fun. 

The hosting made this game for us - truly had us immersed in the experience. Extremely high quality with many fun puzzles related to the circus theme to complete. 

A game that is all about learning from your mistakes. Hard to say too much, bar this was my favourite game by Immersia and it was a wonderful experience! Our host was absolutely fantastic as well. 

Large space to creep around in with an unusual theme. Plenty to do, although perhaps not the most challenging puzzles at this venue. I would still recommend playing. 

One of the older classic experiences at the Laval venue, based on a game from another venue in the USA - enjoyed the intro and the game play. 

Petite family friendly experience at the vast Escaparium Laval complex. Very different from the "huge" games they offer there, but still entertaining, would be a good introduction to ER for children. 

5* is not sufficient for this game. Truly epic, the most wonderful hosting and immersion I have experienced and worth every bit of the high price tag. It takes you on a journey akin to being in a movie; I have never been so invested in an experience. The only time a room has brought me to tears, and I'd pretty much fly back to Canada just to experience it again.  The current #1 in the Terpecas, and my current #1 game (as of summer 2025) 

Escaparium Laval hosts another unmissable game. Lots of puzzles, and the most wonderful host/hint system I have come across. Pure joy. 

Vast set, wonderful introduction and hosting, suitably spooky - takes you on a journey! Worthy of its high Terpeca ranking. 

Huge set, wonderful (and hilarious) hosting both in terms of live actors and the "hint" system. By far the best pirate themed game I have done, great fun. One of many unmissable games at Escaparium Laval. 

Small space but very puzzle heavy, lots to do in the allotted time. 

I can see why this game is divisive; it is physical and you will get warm. So saying, not to the level I have experienced in some European games. Not the hardest puzzles but we had a fun time. 

Interesting concept and some clever ideas, let down by some broken tech and a slightly confused GM (appreciate the staff were struggling to understand our accents which were not familiar to them). 

My personal favourite of the 5 games we played at Sauve Qui Peut, nice set design and sufficient puzzles to keep us entertained. 

Enjoyed the set design, the individual items and some of the puzzles; however did not enjoy the adaptive AI at all (would change mid way through puzzle solves - very frustrating), and had some broken tech at the end of the game leading to a "victory" when in fact all we were doing was standing around, which left us a bit deflated. 

This is a small game, and one of the older ones at Immersia - however, we still really enjoyed it, there were some fun puzzles, the hosting was lovely; wouldn't overlook if playing their other games. 

Our host was so funny - we were truly immersed in this game. The only thing I did not enjoy was the motion on the "train" which evidently causes motion sickness in me! Puzzles were great though. 

New offering in 2025 from Immersia - the set was great for this game, and we really enjoyed all the puzzles.
