We need to test that this portal works properly, we’re pretty sure that it does but we just need to be certain! From what we can gather Tommy has landed somewhere in the midst of the Western Front in 1917. There is a very significant chance/the slight possibility that the portal could break when you go through (but it probably won’t don’t worry) If it does though, don’t panic, your team are just going to have to fix the time portal before the bridge collapses and you’re trapped in the past forever.

An excellent set and puzzles that really fit the WW1 theme. We had a super host and generally and all-round good time... We just wished there were twice the number puzzles!
I was quite disappointed with this room after seeing some good reviews for Unescapable. It was very short - we finished in just 25 mins as a team of 2 - and much of that time was spent on a tedious busy puzzle. The set was good and the puzzles (aside from the previously mentioned one) were fine but there just wasn't enough of them.

There weren't a great deal of puzzles to complete, which for their easiest/starter room makes sense. One of the puzzles tripped us up a bit but the others were quite hands on and fun to do, and the way the room began was very impressive.
The reception area is set up as a time machine so the story starts as soon as you walk in the building.
I think we found Tommy to be the easiest game here, but we had a great time. Good theme throughout, good set pieces and a few unique puzzles that were really satisfying to complete.

Not a lot of content, but the content that was there was done very well. Our games master was great, and wasn’t too pushy with clues. You can tell it was their original room but that wouldn’t stop me from recommending it 🙂

ziemlich leicht
Played a few years ago and got out very quickly. Lot's of people recommended Tommy and Edith so I was excited to play but found them both disappointing.
I think the oldest of the games here and to a degree it shows, the theming is superb, it looks fantastic but I don't think the puzzles really back it up, there's some obvious time sinks in there.
Very atmospheric decor, very enthusiastic hosts who kept the story going even outside the room itself. A strong narrative with several dramatic moments and touches of humour.
The only problem when we played this game was that there just didn’t seem to be quite enough content - we solved everything quickly and escaped in forty minutes despite not being particularly experienced at this stage.
With Unescapable's other game we swapped the ghostly frights of Edith for a First World War trench in Tommy. They again provided a much more entertaining and immerse start to the game than simply stepping through a doorway. The room looks great, with good props enhanced by skilful use of lighting and audio, and once again the environment turned out to be more complicated and interesting than a simple square room or two.
Your mission is to go through a time portal to 1917 for a quick five-minute...
The theatrical background of the Unescapable team shines through in what they've produced: a beautiful, sprawling experience which immerses you in the story from well before you enter the room right to the very end.
A fun room that had a good sense of exploration, but perhaps play Tommy as a warm-up for the other games here. Our game was tainted by over-eager clueing by our GM, and a laborious first puzzle, but we ended on a high and that’s the main thing.
Take a quick look, if you would, at the first photo on this review. Maybe click it to enlarge it. See that? That’s not composite art, nor is it a photo from inside the room. No, that’s Unescapable’s lobby. They’ve built a giant time machine in the building’s multi-story atrium. As first impressions go, Unescapable hits a home run.
Unescapable is an immersive venue from the moment you enter. We loved the theatre and overall ‘story’ of the venue, but we felt Tommy was just too short and too simple.
