Cybercity 2049 is an extremely beautiful and immersive escape room.
The theme is a mix of all your favourite cyberpunk sci-fi movies, like The Matrix and Blade Runner. We were greeted by a Morpheus-like man who asked us if we wanted to hack and escape Genesis.
When you begin your journey, you open up so many beautifully designed rooms and discover the super cool and high-tech underground cyber city.
The story is good, the puzzles are fun, and there are also some intense moments where you have to hide.
A really fun and great experience.
Our host was super fun and very engaging in the story.
I can only recommend Cybercity 2049.
A fantastic set but this felt like an experience that was all style over substance. Puzzle flow was poor and the story didn't progress or develop.
Brilliant immersion with some epic moments of tension and great use of space. Not perfect language-wise, since the original game is in Spanish but not a huge issue. Great hosting, immersion from the moment you open the venue door. Would definitely recommend it for fans of the theme. Puzzles were fun, love the physical aspects (there’s a lot) and everybody gets to do stuff.
Great set, really beautiful with a strong clear hi tech theme. Some really fun elements in the game and unique interactions with the Games Master
Breathtaking set design with a story and spaces that unravel effortlessly. The story has a good pace that gives a sense of urgency whilst not making you feel too on edge. The use of space is well planned and the opportunity for physical and logical puzzles are spread out evenly.

After so many genuinely first-rate games in and around Barcelona, it’s hard to find the words to do Cybercity justice. But let’s try anyway: it’s a sprawling extravaganza of an experience that’s relentlessly impressive and original, one of a tiny handful of games that pushes the bounds of what you might ever have thought reasonable to expect from an escape room.

CyberCity was one of the games I was most looking forward to in Barcelona. Did it live up to the hype? Yes? I think so. It’s hard to say really. We had a great time, and the puzzles and set were fun, but I think I needed more neon. Is it worth playing? 100% yes.
Take two spoons of Matrix, mix them with half a cup of Terminator and thirty grams of Blade Runner. Mix it well, and here you have it – your very own CyberCity 2049!
When I saw that we’re playing that room, I had a certain vision in my mind for what I hoped it would look like, and they hit it right on the head.
Without spoiling anything, the game introduces you to Cybercity – a futuristic, dark and grotty city, full of crime and criminals.
The city is filled with so many details, parts and characters, that it’s hard not to be emersed in it, and in the ongoing plot.
