As a full disclaimer: I went as a group, this game had been booked for me and I did not see the info on the website before booking. Now, I would not have played this game had I known how claustrophobic it was going to be so my experience was swayed negatively by that.
Safety was also a huge issue in this game, at the start you are individually in a confined space WITH NO OVERRIDE OR EMERGENCY EXIT, if there was a fire you wouldn't be able to get out unless you physically broke the wood/plastic in front of you (or solving the puzzle). Following the fire in Poland this is simply not acceptable.
I had a panic attack at the start of this game, the game master did not radio through or come into the game to check on me, i had to solve the puzzle to get out; through tears, shaking and hysterics.
The game design was amazing, it did feel like you were on a space ship, some of the props had clearly seen better days which ruined the immersion slightly.
The puzzles were interesting in that for some of them you didn't necessarily need to complete but your performance effected the games outcome/story. I did like this aspect, but would have preferred to be told this information in advance.
This game is quite disorientating, and again, if there was an emergency, you would not know how to get out. There are no fire exit signs, or seemingly even fire exits, you are at the full control of the GM, if anything happened to them, you’re stuck.
There’s another very claustrophobic part towards the end of the game, after radioing the GM i was told to wait as technically only one person needs to do it so that was ok. The rest of the team went in and exclaimed about screws/nails that they had cut themselves on when crawling though the dark space.
To summarise; don’t do this game if you struggle in small spaces and/or are concerned about your safety in an emergency. If that doesn't bother you, play this game! Its design is amazing, the puzzle are unique and engaging, you’ll have a really fun time!

Second game on our Barcelona itinerary and second for us at Escape Barcelona was Alien. The previous game Akasha had set an extremely high bar, but Alien managed to rise to the same heights.
This of course is based on the Alien(s) sci-fi horror movies. While it’s not a fear game it works hard to build tension and create the feel of a creepy spacecraft, as much as is possible without having actual aliens hunting you down.
Although it’s technically possible to play with fewer, the website strong...
Alien is perhaps the most popular escape room in Barcelona and very well booked! If you are planning a trip, you should reserve your desired date in time – which means 2-3 months in advance if it is a weekend.
