Some different puzzles to normal type, we enjoyed this one, it took a bit longer than usual for us so great value. 

Thanks so much for arranging for us to collect this, we really enjoyed doing it. A different take on an escape room, more of a treasure trail. We've done a few outdoor escape rooms and they all have a different format. This one was low tech but enjoyable and perfect for a family to do together. 

We have followed Deadlocked since 2020 when we found their first online game, and we eagerly completed them all in lockdown. We then made a special trip to Loughbrough in 2022 to do their rooms before the venue closed. This was our first visit to Reading. The room had some interesting puzzles and was cleverly laid out in the small space available. Our host was fully in character and very welcoming. Thanks for having us.

Thanks to Sophie for fitting us in last minute. We last visited here in August 2019 to do Homecoming and we thought the rooms have improved since then. The room had some unique elements and we really enjoyed it. 

Not quite an 'escape room' as you spend the full 60 mins in the room completing as many puzzles as possible to increase your score. Designed for 4 but we helped test it out as a team of 2 and it was still a lot of fun and what I thought was really good about it was the replay-ability. The same team could play 4 times in different roles and have a totally different experience. Alex made us very welcome, we really enjoyed it.

This was a great experience, Joshua was so helpful and accommodating. We wanted to try The Rubicon as a team of 2, and he made that possible for us. He designed and built the room and the puzzles were well made, clever and unusual. The location is a bit off the beaten track, especially as first time visitors to Plymouth but this place is well worth a visit, surprises at every turn. 

Another great room from XscapeNow. This is now our 3rd room here and it's just consistently great. Not our first wonderland themed room but this one was definitely unique in a crowded theme. We thoroughly enjoyed it and both Richard and Michelle were lovely, the friendly staff at this venue just add to the fab rooms to make it a top choice destination. We changed our plans for the day to fit in this extra room before we moved on to our next destination. Thanks XscapeNow, we will be back as soon as we can! 

We loved this room, our second at this venue. The room was excellent, really well set up and laid out. Lots to do without being cluttered or cramped and we always prefer the less linear rooms as it suits our style of puzzling better. 

Our host, Olivia really made the experience special, she was warm and friendly, and happy to chat about the rooms, definitely 5 stars to her! 

We felt this one was easier than previous years but still enjoyable. 

Pretty simple rooms listed as medium but only took us 24 mins. 

No host present when we came out of the room after finishing  and intro video didn't play for 5 mins after host left us, I had actually left the room to find someone when it started. It felt like a conveyer belt and we prefer a more personal experience, and to chat with the hosts / owners about the room. 

Would recommend this venue for casual players rather than keen escape room enthusiasts. 

Ggood for families with younger kids, but rarely qualifies as an escape room in its own right. Overpriced in our opinion. Tech was flawed as the laser guns and sensors didn't work well. I think approx 4 of our 11 mins were spent trying to make that work.  Advertised treasure trail was barely worthwhile and despite being told to take it to red desk for a certificate, they informed us they haven't had those delivered for ages. A bit of a let down in general.

Torches were a bit rubbish so the first part was hard to see. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed and Ajay was a great host.

Good room, some novel puzzles, and a good variety. Jack was a great host. So much so we booked to return the next day.

Our first visit to this venue, a great game and we really enjoyed it. Bob was lovely, and we really enjoyed the puzzles.

Our 3rd Escape Hunt venue visited. This was one of the good ones, the room is relatively new to the site. 

Not their best room by far but we enjoyed it. Would have preferred more variety in the locks, lots of 3 and 4 digit padlocks which is a personal bug bear but there was a couple of puzzles we haven't seen before. 

Enjoyed this, it had a twist on the usual format. Wish exit would attempt to make their games repayable and not disposable. We never damage and and pass them on to another home, it's not that difficult. We should be trying to be more sustainable. 

Really enjoyed this, would be great fun in a group too. 

Great game, lots of fun. Easier than the average but it's a Christmas theme so aimed at families. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Hosting was brilliant, thanks for being fabulous Matthew!

Another great game, we loved this room, perhaps partly due to our ages and a rose tinted view of the 1980s? Great fun for all ages and just a bit different. However we are not pinball wizards!

Happy to see a new venue in the city, played 2 games so far and thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to Amelie for awesome hosting.

Easily playable as a single player or team of 2, despite the 3-8 player recommendation on the box.

Took only 47 mins and we found it quite easy.

Enjoyable puzzles.

First game of this type, a bit different. Not that exciting though. 

Not our usual choice of theme but we were limited with a last minute booking. As a team of 2 it was a bit harder to be separated at the start but I wouldn't have liked being in the room with a larger team as it was small in general. A couple of innovative things but otherwise a fairly standard creepy old toilet! Lizzie was lovely but we missed John's enthusiasm from the previous day. 

This is their hardest game, we liked it slightly less than the others more due to there being a lot of looking for things rather than puzzles, we find that harder. Still enjoyed it though. John was a fabulous host. 

Loved this room, our first in this venue. Some really different puzzles. Major thanks to John who made the experience with his hosting.
