As someone who is scared of horror I was terrified when my husband booked this room. The set, sound effects, story and acting is all complimentary of the film this is based on. You are given enough time to solve puzzles but you certainly can’t calculate where the scares will come from!

Athens horror games tend to follow a different system to other escape rooms. You’re normally expected to arrive exactly on time not ten or fifteen minutes before, and typically there is only the one game at the venue. The host is in character if you see them at all. There’s usually a chance to use the bathroom and stow your belongings (especially phones and electronic watches), but that’s also handled while breaking immersion as little as possible.

Woman in Black is not a typical escape room, It’s literally a small creepy village full of riddles and terror. Excellent atmosphere, dark and spooky, with very impressive settings. The acting is really amazing and the jumpscares are perfectly synchronized with the sound and the light effects… In other words an excellent choice if you are font of horor escape rooms. The game is already available in English.
I feel bad for Woman in Black as we played it the day after we had played Chapel and Catacombs so it perhaps didn’t wow us as much as it really should have. But it in its own right, it is still an incredible game with a huge set that I really enjoyed.
