– Alexei, nu te pune cu Diatlov, că ne dă afară. Adio apartamente spațioase în Pripiat, adio salarii bune și ne trezim într-o văgăună din Siberia. Aici găsim de mâncare tot ce vrem, acolo ne vom hrăni familiile cu pâine veche și pește uscat. Ai grijă.
În drum spre centrală, cerul e plin de stele, aerul e călduț și miroase a primăvară. Acasă, soția și fetița dorm fericite că duminică plecați în excursie cu mașina cea nouă. Merită să suporți un șef nebun.
Când începe testul la reactorul 4, în camera de control, Diatlov zbiară la tine:
– Continuă să reduci presiunea!
– Dar e deja la 600 MW și manualul spune că nivelul de siguranță e de 700!
– Nu e treaba ta să gândești, imbecilule!
Nu te pui cu Diatlov.
Presiunea scade până când reactorul se oprește de tot. Diatlov cere să fie ridicate barele de control. Reactorul pornește, presiunea se ridică. Nu știți că pompele împing tot mai puțină apă în miezul reactorului, care se încinge mai tare ca iadul.
Presiunea se dublează la fiecare secundă. Pereții se clatină în camera pompelor. Capacul de 500 de tone al reactorului se zguduie, apoi sare în aer, eliberând în atmosferă 50 de tone de combustibil nuclear, de 10 ori mai mult ca la Hiroshima, răspândind boală și moarte până la mii de kilometri depărtare.
Ia-ți prietenii, intrați în Cernobîl și salvați-vă la timp!
Trebuie ca voi să trăiți și să povestiți ce s-a întâmplat pe 26 aprilie 1986.

Enjoyable game, nicely themed and some good puzzles. Wouldn't recommend for any more than 4 people as quite linear though we did all manage to do something, but a couple moments where it was only possible for 2 players to be working on something

When people say escape games these days are increasingly experience-led, Chernobyl is a great example of what they're talking about. While it's as filled with puzzles as any other escape game (and more so than most, since this is a 75 minute game), the subjective experience while playing is less one of puzzle-solving, and more a cinematic feeling of dealing with the story, in this case 'trying to deal with an out of control power station'. Around 2018 we have taken a break from visiting rooms as very little have opened and because of other reasons. In 2019 we thought it was time to play the rooms we have missed and what a greater start than Chernobyl Reactor 4. Extremely cinematic and detailed. You follow a story from the beginning in the control room until the end where you try to stop the explosion from happening. Very clever ways of moving around. We always love rooms that play with the space to give a hallucinating adventure. You will find matching materials and elements, nothing out of place. All these add to a complete game that we have enjoyed very much.
