Clue Adventures promised us a unique and special escape room experience for two players, but we were left feeling deflated. The drab Underground setting and predictable story were a far cry from what we were expecting. The puzzles were adequate at best, and the majority failed to live up to the company's "specially designed for 2 players" promise. Considering the hefty price tag, we were expecting something more groundbreaking.

Absolutely loved this room and the fact it’s designed for 2 players. You really have to work as a team and the puzzles are genuinely fun. My pet peeve of being given clues when you don’t want them wasn’t an issue but we could have them when we wanted and the games master was really attentive and enthusiastic. Seems to have changed as there were no wireless headphones or microphones to communicate with, which is a good thing as a few people have mentioned that as a negative. Can’t wait to do their other 2 player room!
An unfortunate power cut meant we had to return to finish the room (20th Jan 2018), but the theme of the tube combined with a good plot and fantastic techy puzzles made this a great hit with us! It's also a fairly unique room in that it's for only 2 players, and I would recommend it to seasoned escapers over newbies.
Really nicely themed room which made excellent use of the space. The puzzles were all logical and really fun to solve. Definitely recommend this game too - eager to return for their other rooms!
Caveat: play-tested the almost-final version. so not proper experience!

The name of Clue Adventures' second game emphasises its distinctive feature: it's a game for exactly two players. Despite apparent demand for two player games there are currently no other London games designed for this number, and the majority of London games list a minimum of three. That's because smaller team sizes work out more expensive for the players and less profitable for the operator, but enthusiasts in particular will be pleased to have a new option in the city for a team of two. This ...
That rarest of experiences - a game created for precisely two players. A good game that doesn't amaze but rarely puts a foot wrong - good theming, good flow, good puzzles, good finale. Like I said - a good game.
What this room lacks in space it makes up for in fun. As soon as you’re in you’re working on puzzles, then you’re on the tube with more puzzles, then you’re off the tube with more puzzles, and just when you think you are done and home free, there’s another puzzles!
This room felt pretty linear to us. It was the first time we saw something that we could solve but was stopped by the game master and told not to follow the order and do another puzzle first. People with good memory and observation would advance quickly in this room. If you are good at mathematics that would also help although you will always have your game master to assist you if that’s not your cup of tea. This could be a fun date room for two people.
We split up into two teams to play this excellent two player tube themed escape room under a railway arch in Mile End, east London.
You have to admire the sheer balls on this game. In one sentence it manages to tip-toe around the copyright of both The Beatles and the London Underground, two of the most ardent defenders of their own trademarks around.
