Nethercott was why we decided to do our Tulleys rooms in a six, as we knew it was pretty tough when friends tried to do it as a smaller group. And it didn't let us down. It was probably the biggest challenge we've all had in an escape room (if you don't count wall-mounted ladders - they're my biggest nemesis). And it is a massive challenge - it's a huge set and it's styled perfectly.
I loved almost all the puzzles I saw - inevitably, there will be ones you'll miss, but we did go through after as a groupto explain as much as we could to each other on what we missed. That said, I've never been a fan of skill-based puzzles, of which this room has a couple. I was tempted to take off half a star in the review but I can't justify it overall. There are solutions if you're having issues, but they feel a little bit meh - apart from one genius Machiavellian one, which had me laughing and gutted I'd not thought of.
When we escaped we all ran out having to catch our breath with a bit of a sweat on. I loved every minute of it - they say you need to be solving a puzzle every two and a half minutes in this, and they're not wrong. It is a must-do. I'm seriously in awe of the two-person teams who can do this within the hour.
OUR FIRST FAILURE.
It's HARD. But its SO fun. We made the mistake of trying this as our first Tulleys escape room, we should have tried their easier rooms first to get used to the puzzles a little bit and get more into the mindset. 50% a retry booking however which is really lovely.
Host was a little bit sarcastic for my liking but we just felt quite humbled I think by the end of this game.
Honestly the theming is exceptional, not an escape room and escape HOUSE. Worth travelling far for. The reception area has fires roasting and alcohol whilst you wait and an adorable cat. Honestly Tulleys Farm is an exceptional venue, a truly special place. I cannot wait to go back

Nethercott Manor, the third game from Tulleys Escape Rooms, has sat at the top of my must-play game list ever since it opened, while garnering one rave review after another; it's currently the highest ranked game on this site by player reviews. And it thoroughly lived up to expectations - with one very glaring problem, that will bother some players greatly and others not at all.
Tulleys' usual superb production values are on display from the outset. The briefing takes place inside the room, but...
There certainly is no expense spared in terms of attention to detail and thought put into this room, it is impeccable. From the court-yard to the kitchen no minor detail is overlooked, creating a living, breathing and 100% immersive space.
Finally, the room that put Tulley’s on the map (for me at least) – their largest and hardest (I think), as I didn’t even see half of the room – more like 1/3! It was also the one I was most nervous before, being a massive wimp and this being a haunted house. Nevertheless, I couldn’t pass the experience up, so I steeled myself and forged ahead.
You can tell that a lot of effort was put into room decoration and it fitted the theme well. This is certainly an amazing premium experience!
Puzzles were varied a nice mix of physical and mental puzzles.
Nethercott Manor brings together great theming with a shed ton of puzzles to create a fun if slightly stuffed escape room.
I love a challenge, and this was certainly that, despite not completing the room I thoroughly enjoyed it, which is odd, as I really like winning, beautiful looking room, really well themed, some good and challenging puzzles, apparently we only got around 2/3 of the way through, may return to replay this one when I've had time to forget the puzzles a bit more, as I'd like to see it to the end.
