I don't think our team stopped smiling / laughing throughout this experience. So funny and some great unique elements. Enjoyed how they've taken a classic escape room theme and made it feel genuinely original. The sense of exploration was amazing and we enjoyed how every puzzle had a purpose in the context of the story. The interactions with the machine itself were a nice easter eggy touch.

Mad Machines’ second game was the one we played first, and the venue impressed as soon as we entered - it’s a small thing, but still a great sign when the entrance to an escape room venue already puts you in an upbeat good mood with music and visuals.

Wouldn’t you also be interested in knowing what your life would have been like in another age? Who would you be? A gunslinger in the Wild West? A gladiator in the Roman Empire? A quack in the Middle Ages? We’re keenly interested, and thanks to Dr Mad, our curiosity can finally be satisfied. Just choose the age of your dreams, it says flowery in the travel brochure of his time machine. We should have read the *footnote!!!

Awesome take on the time machine genre
The Time Machine by Mad Machines offers a refreshingly new, exciting, entertaining, and thrilling take on the theme. The intricately detailed sets blur the boundaries of place and time, just like the cleverly integrated puzzles and the dramatic use of music and lighting. The hilarious (not always purely human) performances and the numerous surprises throughout the gameplay, along with the best pre-show warm-up ever, make this room a must-visit for anyone in Milan! Three players is an ideal group size for tackling the puzzles in this space.
