Firstly this rooms theming is incredible, it genuinely feels like and old submarine! I think however this leads to a major flaw, it's rather empty with little to fill it and few places to hide possible items (there weren't many).

The puzzles themselves were rather slow and dull with little of the desired tension you want from a good room.

The main let down was the final puzzle, we did it correctly and nothing happened cos the tech was broken. We asked for help and nothing. We ended up just sitting on the floor waiting. Eventually the game master came in to ask what was happening. He looked at the completed final puzzle and was like year that's correct the techs just broken. So he manually had to force it open. It turned out he also couldn't see we had done it correctly over the cameras as the periscope was in the way, which seems like a huge oversight on the company's part. 

We did a second room here hoping it would be better but it was worse. 

I would not recommend coming here if you are an escape enthusiast, the company is not bothered by their rooms just more interested in their golf and axe throwing. 

It's a shame to have to write that any escape room enthusiasts should avoid this room!

We did another room at this location before this one which was wasn't the best but this one was really poor.

The host was nice but when we entered the room it hadn't been reset and we even saw some of the solutions. A lot of the basic tech was broken! At one point we had solved a puzzle and nothing happened, so we asked the game master what we needed to do and they told us to do the puzzle we had already completed and then we're confused when we kept saying we already had. 

The theming was weak and the order of puzzles seemed illogical. Unfortunately the location for escape rooms just seemed poorly run and the company is more focused on their indoor golf and axe throwing!

This room is super fun! It's a little creepy but not in a scary way, it just adds to the suspense of the room. 

The puzzles were fun and a few more unique ones that make really good use of the room itself, not just feeling tacked on. They sometimes felt a little straightforward but that didn't take away from the enjoyment of the room at all!

The whole place is really cool being built into the caves and it's definitely worth a visit to at least one of their rooms!

This is quite easily the best escape room we have done as a duo.

The theming for this room was perfect, so immersive and fun to be apart of. I'm not normally interested in space themed rooms but this was phenomenal.

The sequence of the unique puzzle made the room even more fun and they were a great mix of difficulty with the overall room being quite challenging but definitely solveable. 

If you are looking for a room in Nottingham (and there are so many good ones) I definitely recommend this one first!

Note: I think it would be quite tricky for someone new to escape rooms.
