First time playing an online escape room via Zoom and I have to say I was incredibly impressed. From the incredible host playing 'Kit' to the impressive atmosphere and ingenius puzzles, this was a truly brilliant escape room.
The host that played Kit was a particular highlight, so professional and charming which made the whole experience incredibly memorable.
The atmosphere was spot on, it truly felt like we were in touch with a real dive crew deep under the ocean.
The puzzles were really well thought out and made us feel quite clever once we figured out the solutions. I also loved being able to look for treasure everywhere, a nice addition to tying to find clues and solve puzzles.
I would highly recommend this escape room to anyone, whether you first escape room or if you have experience, you are sure to have a brilliant time. Just make sure you get Kit out before the co2 gets him!
This was a great escape room to go through with friends!
It gave all of us a chance to pitch in to help solve the puzzles which ranged in difficulty.
The acting was brilliant, allowing me to feel at ease with talking through things, but with the urgency of also needing to get tasks done before the time runs out. The time being shown as a visual very well! The aids that were provided were also lovely in design and very informative!
The escape room is beautifully created! With the lighting, and other effects, it makes for a great immersive experience even when online!
As a person who has never before done an escape room, I can happily and confidently say this was a perfect introduction! I highly enjoyed it!
I had a great time with this room, even if it made me a feel a bit stupid at times.
Between the immersive acting and the detailed set design, this game easily setup the room's theme and the reason for each puzzle, along with the methods for solving them.
The puzzles themselves had a nice range of difficulty, with some making others significantly easier once completed, though without appearing mandatory.
This was confirmed in part when our team was able to effectively skip a puzzle we couldn't solve with reasonable deductions and existing skills, allowing us to ascertain the conclusion of the puzzle with minimal steps (after discussing this particular puzzle with the creator, I still have no idea how to solve it properly).
The classic time limit is present, but is implemented in a creative and encouraging way that lead us to take more risks, but also work more decisively as a team, something we struggled with for half of the room.
All in all I don't think the room would be difficult for pros (though as I understand it this is something they're working on), but for beginners and introverts this is the perfect game; fun, immersive, safe, and rewarding.
I look forward to whatever room they come up with next.
