Fit nicely into the pirate themed of The Brig. Was great to combine doing an escape room with a more social experience as we worked our way through the various chests included in this game while having a drink at the in house bar. The puzzles were still strong, beautifully made and fun to complete
Last weekend thanks to Co-Decode we were able to transform our living room into a pirate's lair. Five intricately designed and utterly unique wooden chests provided both backdrop and a succession of ingenious puzzles that used every available cubic inch. Authentic throughout from the iconic emblem of the East India Trading Company to the tropical parrots. Everything tied together by the Captain's menancing script and an unobtrusive layered online hint system that provided as little or as much help as was required. Two acts, each about 1 1/2 hours, went far too quickly, and the treasure was a delightful touch much appreciated by daughter (13) and son (11). Once finished, you simply have to start again - admiring the construction and the depth of the escalating puzzles. Sadly the next morning came too quickly, and it was a wrench to hand back the chests to Alex - tempered by the thought that others would get the chance to experience the pirate's lair for themselves and transform their living rooms.

Value for money is a difficult concept when you're talking about escape games. Particularly when you're talking about the even more niche mobile/at home escape game. Particularly when you're talking about a potentially unique "deluxe private hire (escape) game". Putting all that aside, despite the sizeable (£100) price tag, I was still very impressed by just how much stuff there was, and all of a high quality and appearance. The puzzles stand up as well as most you'd find in a physical room, and the whole thing was just fun. Parking adequate.
It would be impossible to talk about Captain’s Treasure without using the words delightful, clever, joyous, or perfection. If you are lucky enough to live close enough to Swindon to hire Captain’s Treasure, pick your date and book it now. No really; Book now
