Fantastic quality to the components, engaging story, a variety of puzzle types.  Extremely responsive customer service.  Ran into some gamebreaking glitches on Chapter 7, hopefully these will be fixed.

Key Enigma's debut game ran its Kickstarter in 2020, and it's spent as long sitting on my shelf as it did in production - the stated 8 hour play time put me off from diving in. Once I finally did start it, it turned out to be actually very digestible, consisting of eight chapters that each made for a quick-ish game that's easy to fit into a spare corner of an evening.

I'd describe this as a hybrid box/online game: it comes with a box full of envelopes and components, but much of the action take...

"Hack Forward" was the first game that we decided not to binge through. We really wanted to savor each chapter and mostly because we didn't want it to end. There were so many twist and turns that by the time we got to Chapter 6, we forgot how we got there. The creators were really clever at designing the last chapter which forced us to string the story together ourselves. This game was really immersive and made me feel like I was a real hacker by the end. Although it wasn't through writing codes or understanding complicated operating systems, decoding encrypted messages and getting into hidden portals on the web was sufficient to make this experience feel extremely realistic. Key Engima used every inch of this box to give us a full 8+ hours of game play. It really exceeded our expectations and it's truly worth the value. You can even repackage this game and it's entirely replayable. We highly recommend giving this game a try. You won't be disappointed!

How long does it take Mairi to hack into a nuclear power plant and save the world from imminent destruction… We finally know: It’s at least 10 hours over 2 months!
