Despite good hosting and some nice decorations, I simply cannot recommend this room yet.
The puzzles need a serious overhaul. Most "puzzles" were actually just "busywork" to keep you occupied (not actual puzzles) such as translating an entire sheet of text letter-by-letter from a draconic language, some letters of which were written incorrectly anyway. In one instance a chain of "puzzles" just led to an empty drawer! There are many red herrings and various items in the room which are just intended to distract you.
The room has approximately 20 padlocks scattered around, so every time you solve a puzzle you need to go around trying the combination in every lock - this got very boring.
The GM had to come in several times to fix problems with the room. He was pleasant enough and seemed to be open to receiving feedback, but that just amplified our feeling that this room had not been properly play-tested (perhaps only his friends had attempted the room?) and it was not yet ready for actual customers.
There is also a strong Dungeons & Dragons theme to this room. The GM said D&D knowledge was not required, but there were definitely instances in which D&D knowledge gave a significant advantage.
The website says 1-6 players but I would not recommend going in with fewer than 4, as there was a LOT to do all at once. I'd also recommend being at least somewhat familiar with D&D.
I have passed my feedback onto the GM/owner - I hope he takes it all on board and makes the necessary changes.
(Technically we escaped as we were given a time extension due to the ongoing problems with the room).
