We played as a 5 as we were worried as our usual team of 3, if one of us got caught the game would end. So we roped a few friends along.
We played their Exorcist game previous to this which we loved so had to come try this one.
We knew it would be scary but didn’t realise it would be THIS scary!
Snatched had a nice blend of padlocks and tech-puzzles, which we enjoyed. I don’t usually like playing as a bigger group as it can feel like you’re missing out, but the game was mostly non-linear and its intensity meant we just wanted to solve the puzzles and get out as quick as we could.
I personally don’t scare that easy, I’m jumpy, but when I say I was scared, I mean, I was genuinely scared.
It was like a game of hide and seek, and there’s a cue for when to hide from the killer. We started out with a plan of where each of us would hide but then every time the killer was on his way, it just turned to every man for themselves as we where all terrified of being caught!
Thankfully we all made it through without capture, and never been more grateful.
Honestly, the funniest, most stressful and terrifying hour of my life.
If I’m super critical, I’d say maybe abit more of a disclaimer on the graphic nature of some of the props, they were really realistic and let’s say, have anatomy on full display.
We talked about this game for days after playing it. So so clever!
