In the late 1800’s, the mysterious and reclusive Professor Achibald Caine resided in an old wooden cabin hidden deep within the forest. Known for his eccentric experiments and fascination with the supernatural, he was believed to possess the power to manipulate time itself. However, one fateful night, an experiment went awry, trapping the professor within a time loop inside the cabin.
As participants, you are brave adventurers who stumble upon the mysterious cabin while exploring the forest. Drawn by its enigmatic aura, you enter the cabin, only to find yourselves inexplicably transported back in time to the late 1800’s.
Upon arrival, you discover a note left by the Professor, pleading for help. It reveals that you must unravel the secrets of the cabin and find a way to break the time loop before the hourglass runs out, or you will be trapped forever.

Reading other reviews here, it seems that similar issues are being noted, and I have to pretty much agree with all that has been said.
It's actually not a terrible room. It's a little shabby, but nicely decorated for the theme and a believable enough setting. Unfortunately the hosts don't give you any background, so it's not really clear why you're there or what you're trying to do (in a storyline sense), other than escape the room. It's a shame because the host was a really nice guy, but just needs a little more direction & experience to guide teams.
The puzzles are a mixed bag. Mostly finding codes for padlocks, many of them made sense and were perfectly logical, one or two needed some more direction as to what order the numbers went in, and one was just plain wrong. (The wrong one was on a printed piece of paper compared to everything else that was laminated or props, so i'm not sure if this is an update but nobody has bothered to check the answer properly. When the guy gave us a hint it gave us the opposite instruction to the one written on the puzzle and gave an answer that still didn't work out exactly based on the numbers provided.)
Hosting wise, we started off pretty well getting hints as needed, but about halfway through he seemed to get a bit giddy and was telling us what to do before we'd even had chance to look/work it out!
I think this room just needs a couple of experts to play through and give them some advice on how to improve a couple of puzzles so that they flow better/make sense, and advise the staff on how to host/set the scene. It's very old school so won't appeal to people who want the modern tech rooms etc, but if you like puzzles and padlocks it's got a lot to offer. I've played worse.

This game didn't start well for us as it turned out there was a fatal reset fail that mean't we couldn't progress so we were taken to their other room to play that (we had booked both) while they resolved the issue here, the GMs couldn't have been more helpful or engaged with us. This room is a split start with one volunteer being locked up. There seemed to be an interesting story to the room but it wasn't really expounded upon. The puzzles were mostly linear but the sign posting isn't great and we needed to be hinted a couple of times (over a walkie-talkie which isn't my favourite) as it just wasn't clear what we needed to tackle next. I don't think we had as negative a time as some reviews I've read but I wouldn't make a special journey to play this venue.

Before I start, I want to say that this is a great room with plenty of puzzles that flow. However there are a couple of points that ruined our experience here. The first point is quite minor, however didn't give us a great first impression of the place. The FAQ's tell you to arrive 20 minutes before the start of your game. We did, however were told to sit down and wait. 5 minutes before the start of the game a man came over, went through the locks, didn't mention the story or theme and took us down to the room. Like I say, not a huge deal but a poor first impression. The main issue that we had was that many of the drawers/cupboards would not open for us, meaning that we missed out on huge amounts of time as we presumed they didn't open (especially at the start of the game!). At one point a member of the team had to enter the room to open a cupboard that was stuck. Additionally there were times when we worked out the codes, but it wasn't clear/there were no clues as to what order the numbers were in etc. Other than the points above this is a good room. Plenty of challenges and a great theme.
