Initially when I saw so many digit locks, I was worried the game would be boring or predictable but it was far from both. There were so very many different and innovative ways to solve each lock as well as the game itself played very fluidly. At no point was my team stuck to the point of being frustrated and the energy and fun factor was maintained the entire time. Telescape was perfectly implemented as the inventory worked very well, all photos were clear and everything was easy to interact with.  This is a digitized physical room so you get a real feel of being in the room and can easily split up and work on different things. We all had a lot of fun-great way to spend a rainy Sunday with friends and family :) 

Sleepy Man is the perfect end to an amazing horror trilogy. Much like DeVille’s and Night Terrors before it, despite being digitally hosted, it very much has the feel of playing a live avatar room. The room has just the right level of creepy and has some very innovative puzzles. Another must play from Mystery Manson Regina !! 

Yesterday my team and I had the pleasure of playing the digitally hosted game of Night Terrors at Mystery Mansion Regina . Having already played and loved both Deville’s Curio Shoppe and The Sleepy Man as live avatar games (easily two of my favourites), I was very excited to play the remaining game of the trilogy. Our whole team had an amazing time. They have gone above and beyond with Game Mastering in character and have made so many additional videos to the game based upon what you choose to do in the room ,that other then the fact you click to look around the room, you would think the whole game was live avatar. What a seamless transition !! This game really needs it’s own category as the story is choice driven like a Choose You Own Adventure yet it is done in such a way that it is totally immersive. This is for sure by FAR my favourite digital game yet but please know that it really deserves it’s own category as it plays so much more like an incredibly immersive live avatar. If you like room escapes and puzzles, grab a headset, turn out the lights and spend some time with the Sleepy Man. The entire trilogy is amazing !

This game so so adorable and incredibly unique ! It had music, humour and some very unique puzzles. Not only did the creator/game master show us the alternate endings after the game but he even gave us a little backstage tour and answered all our questions. I played this game with a huge smile on my face the entire game. Definitely hope it has more chapters in the future. 

Grandfather's Fortune was quite a unique digital game. Not only is the theme of family heritage and memories not often used but it has a very unique game mechanic which allows you to see all of the rooms in two different ways.  Our team is always very determined to not get hints (myself included) so our play time is rather long. It was quite challenging for us at times which was also a nice change of pace. Also, it has a nice little extra of allowing you to have a team photo keepsake which I have never seen before in a digital unhosted game.
