Yes, we played this Christmas game in the middle of July. We were in Brighton for the weekend with friends and we decided to replay Raver Quest (it has been years, but we still talk about it as one of those really silly fun rooms) and realised that the Pier Pressure Christmas room was also open so we had to play it.
It is so much fun. Enchanting. It helps a little if you know your Christmas movies - it is useful in a couple of puzzles but also it means you will appreciate the theming and easter eggs so much more. We bloody loved this game, it gave us all the festive feels. So good.
There is so much to love about this room but it ended up leaving me sour as numerous puzzles relied on outside knowledge (that I didn't know). Some fun humerous moments and nods to the films if you know them!
We had a fantastic time doing this escape room as a team of two. Lots of really fun puzzles and brilliant tie ins to some classic Christmas movies. Really well themed and our host was excellent, she really made the whole experience extra fun. I would recommend this room to anyone! Puzzles weren’t too tricky but lots of memorable moments.
