Locked In A Room are proud to present, in partnership with Aardman; Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Way Out!
With little over an hour until the village science fete and eager to show off his new invention, Wallace has forgotten the code to his workshop! With the help of Gromit, don the Memory-O-Matic helmet and take a trip down memory lane to help him remember it, before it’s too late!

Hope you like padlocks! This is a really poor and low effort escape room. No level of Wallace & Gromit fandom can redeem this. Don't bother.
A great theme and ideal for families. Experienced teams would find it quite easy.
A couple of puzzles that didn’t quite flow e.g tenuous connection or using something twice.
Big shout out to Locked In A Room for this fantastic themed room! Aside from being fans of Wallace & Grommit, and escape rooms (so - cracking, as Wallace would say!), there are so many good things to say about this room! I'll gloss over one of the puzzles not registering as quickly as we'd solved it (IYKYK) but otherwise a brilliant room. A moderate number of padlocks (but tbh it fits the inventor-y theme imo) and some great set pieces. Some nice touches and nods to the movies. Well worth a visit.
Great room, completely unique and great hosting. They have 3 of the same rooms so it was fun racing against others (the venue was very busy when we were there with lots of other rooms going on too). Theming is gorgeous. We visited during the heatwave so was great to have good aircon as we were worried. Few too many padlocks for my liking but otherwise a very fun experience. P.S it has it's own dedicated waiting area which was adorable!
A good, family friendly room with a variety of puzzles built around the Wallace and Gromit theme. Only complaint would be that the room and some of it's features were a little bit worn.
Keys! We’ll go somewhere where there’s keys!
As a huge Wallace and Gromit fan, I made a stop-off in MK to play this one before heading on to London!
Story
Help Wallace remember the code to his workshop using the Memory-O-Matic helmet before the village science fete begins.
Puzzles
Mostly fun and good at incorporating aspects of the films. However, I’ve played +100 rooms yet have never experienced a more nonsensical puzzle than one of the initial ones in here. Despite us all being stumped, no clue came. Thankfully, though, my friend cracked it on a complete whim.
Mise en scene
Several detailed and immersive W&G environments containing plenty of pleasing references- cracking!
Final Comments
Our escape took around 50 minutes. A group of 5 was a good-sized team for this one.
The room looked good and some nice moments for fans of the films but let down by a couple of the puzzles that didn't quite work for us.
