My wife and I completed this following Rob the Bank (1) at Maldon which was our favourite. We had high expectations and were not disappointed. (N.b. we think it would be fine to do this without having done the first so don’t let that put you off).
It’s a massive room, lots of different rooms to get into. There were so many puzzles it kept us very busy. The live actor variety was fun - GM had to play multiple characters and the terrible (sorry!) accent added to the fun.
We had a great time doing it as a couple. I can imagine larger groups would suit it well as there is lots to do.
This was our 4th visit to Sudbury Escape Rooms and every time I’ve been impressed with the theming, and quality of the build of the rooms. No tech was broken, the puzzles didn’t look tired or worn.
On the whole it was a good room. Very linear and the escape was very much one lock at a time. The live actor part for me didn’t add to the experience and could been improved.
On the whole, enjoyable and family friendly. Our team was 2 adults and 2 early teens. All members were able to contribute and be heavily involved in the game.
Great experience, really engaging and fabulous host with plenty of interaction, great selection of puzzles and level of challenge, definitely the largest escape rooms we've done.
Huge set but with very little puzzle content within it. Lots of character interaction as per Know Escape’s standard but this felt a bit disjointed and odd for the story of the game. Some really nice moments however that were funny and clever too
