Travel back to Bavaria in the year 1901 to visit the humble toy shop, Otto’s, where a world-changing incident has occurred. A young toy inventor has created what will become a huge phenomenon, but he’s been knocked back before he can begin – the grumpy shop owner won’t stock it!
It’s up to you to sneak into the toy shop at night and place the toy into the shop window. The sales will start flooding in and prove the toy a success, so we can all enjoy it for decades to come! …if you succeed.
This game will have two seasons. You can choose to travel back to the night of October 31st for an eerie adventure (Book Otto’s at Halloween, dates to be announced soon), or the night of December 10th for a visit full of Christmas cheer (Book Otto’s at Christmas, running between 15th November – 14th January). The challenges within your mission will be the same whichever night you choose to visit Bavaria.

A great room with different and interesting puzzles! Really friendly hosts 🙂
Loved this room. Different from anything we’ve done before, so immersive from the start and the briefing. Lots of different puzzles and features not seen before. A really rewarding side quest - lots of nice surprises and great hosting. Don’t be fooled by the outside (it’s next to a cinema and pub so there were kids parties as we arrived) this is a great escape room for experienced players and newbies and we loved it - highly recommend
Wow! This was an amazing escape room. Such great staff that were so immersive themselves. We are back and forth all the different rooms and we loved that! There was some very clever puzzles and some we had not seen before. It was great fun and certainly worth a visit.
We don't normally give high marks when folks try to get us enthused by being "in character" (we're grumpy at the best of times), but Ben was amusingly Bavarian for this toy shop themed escape room which we thought was nicely paced and had enough tasks to be good for a group of multi level "escapees". It's definitely a cozy game with enough difficulty for seasoned players, but with a hint system that was conveniently placed to allow players to get sufficient clear hints (not in accented Bavarian hopefully) should they so need it. Also, given the theme good for family groups too - so on the whole - well positioned to be a very successful room.
The set dressing was good with some puzzles we hadn't seen before and although there were padlocks each had a clear differentiator (no putting the same number in lots of different padlocks until one opens - which immediately gets a reduction in marks from our team).
Everything was new, worked, and was logical and even some of the misdirection was amusing (in hindsight) rather than frustrating.
Definitely a group with a passion for the genre that have put this together and we'll be going back to try their other rooms - which is usually a good sign.
Recommended.
