One year has passed since the seven dwarfs helped Snow White defeat the evil queen, and now they’ve retired to a quiet cottage deep in the forest.

But happily ever after is never that easy, and evil is rising once again! The evil queen’s followers plan to use the poison apple to bring about her malevolent return. Snow White has tasked you to destroy the devious fruit once and for all, and rumour has it that the only way to rid the world of its evil is to cast it into the very centre of the earth.

Now it falls to you to save the day. Answer the call, hoist your pickaxe, and prepare to dig deeper than ever before to defeat the evil queen!

Nice set with a lot of easy to medium puzzles to keep the momentum rolling. Good mix of traditional lock, mechanism and physical tasks.

Very fun game with a beautiful set! It's fairly well adapted to remote, though a few tactile puzzles left in made me especially wish I had played the game in person.

The set design is outstanding, and it's a very cute, family-friendly theme. There's a good number and variety of puzzles. Our avatar was generally good, but does not play any kind of character (a dwarf would be so fun!) which does pull a little from the immersion. There was also one puzzle that we were stuck on for a bit due to missing something that seems like it would be obvious in person, and the avatar might have facilitated that. The inventory system worked smoothly. Improbable Escapes is close enough that we might be able to make it there in person someday, and I can imagine their rooms could be even better IRL. However, if you're unlikely to make it there yourself, the room is definitely worth playing remotely!

Probably my favorite of the remote games that I've played.  Really cool set, and some inventive puzzles.  I really liked that the GM started in every room with a bit of a tour--it saved time, and kept things moving along very well.

Pretty game, fun GM, good puzzles and an all-round great experience. The one downside is that a couple of the puzzles have a physical element that you can't fully enjoy remotely.

Plenty of content to keep you engaged, a decent inventory system to allow everyone on the team to get involved and the cartoonish set lends itself particularly well to remote play.

Definitely one to recommend, especially for families where there's something for everyone.

A very similar level experience to their other fun game, Neverland, but this one just takes the edge for me.

Another high tech room with some great scenery and fiendishly clever puzzles.

We loved this game! Our host was able to give us just a few extra minutes so we could finish. I do think that online might need a bit more time than in person games because it's harder to divide and conquer than in real life. Anyway, the room was so fun! Great sets and fun games that weren't overly complicated, but not too simple either. Everything made logical sense, which is always my escape pet peeve. The host was so friendly and I think that really makes or breaks the game in this format. Lastly, the way the company set up their use of a second computer with detailed information on puzzles to accompany the game was genius and really made for a more complete experience. I highly recommend this game.

We loved Mining Mission! Our host Sam was wonderful, and the set design was beautiful, with a cartoony vibe that didn't skimp on detail. We really liked how every room had a different feel, not just in decor but in the types of puzzles presented; it gave a great feeling of progression that made the game for us. The online components worked really well - super simple references so we could always see what we needed to see, without getting cluttered or requiring too much clicking around. This game's super cute from start to finish, and we loved the ending

One of the best games and companies out there as of May 2020.  Smooth tech, enjoyable GMs, and a room with no annoying flaws.

Pretty standard format for remote escape. They have a good inventory/image system that lets you see things close-up without having to direct the camera back and forth. Nice GM but not in-character.  This was probably our shortest escape experience, 2 people and done in less than 45 min. Overall, I'd probably prefer to do this one IRL but recommended for a remote escape.

A super adorable room, which I would have loved to play IRL, with big chunky physical puzzles and a cute theme. The remote implementation has great remote reference photos so players can solve in parallel if desired, and excellent remote GMing.

When things go wrong in a game, it’s always tricky to fairly judge to what extent that was an unfortunate one-off and to what extent it reflects problems that other teams may also encounter. I think our frustrating experience of Seven Dwarfs was more the former than the latter, and I suspect the game’s obvious strengths made it all the more disappointing that it didn’t go smoothly.

Seven Dwarfs continues the story of Snow White. The evil Queen has been defeated but - shades of of Tolkien creepi...

We’d been waiting to play this game for a long time, and I’m so glad we finally did. It was wonderful and instantly made us want to head back to Disney. This game is sure to be a family favourite, so round up your little people and get booked in!

A dream come true! If I had the chance to build an escape room, this is what I would imagine it to be...As a huge Disney fan, I was very excited for this remote experience. Our mission was to help the seven dwarves destroy the poison apple. The only way the evil queen would not be able to get to it would be for us to take it to the center of the Earth. Let's get digging!

♫ Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, it’s work from home we go! ♫

Right off the bat, I was impressed by the room's strong visuals. Everything felt right in place, and the puzzles were all nicely clued, allowing us to make the proper connections. Since Kingston is "within road-trip distance" from home, I even started to regret having just lost the opportunity to play the room in person.

Overall, Seven Dwarves Mining Mission was a fantastic fairy tale themed experience which was enjoyed virtually. Whilst the room has had to have some minor changes, the room does not disappoint in any aspect and to be playing a Canadian escape room whilst not being in Canada itself, is pretty cool. We loved the range of puzzles they could offer throughout the 60 minutes and how engaging it all was. A challenge for 2 players but with more people, you can destroy the apple much quicker than we did. We completed the mission with just over 7 minutes spare!
