The Mystery Of Loke Lake welcomes you with a story that will mean you need to use your mind, and open up your heart to what is about to transpire.
You are greeted with the story that over ten young children have gone missing from the small town of Loke Lake.
Your friend Steven is known to Loke Lake as the up and coming Sherlock Holmes and he doesn’t let things beat him when it comes to mystery and suspense. He will not be dissuaded on this and knows that every question can be answered, hopefully, to reach the correct solution.
Steven is aware that the children are going missing which in itself is a cause for concern. This mystery must be solved and he feels that he is the one to complete the task. Regardless of the danger and peril he may find himself in he has decided that he must be their savior.
Starting on his journey Steven found a series of clues that lead him to the spooky abandoned lake house. This was once owned by the Earl of Loke. He was a gentleman of dubious standing, slightly eccentric, but didn’t let many people in regarding his private life which at times seemed highly questionable to an outsider.
You find out that Steven has also disappeared after visiting the Abandoned Lake House.
You gather up a few of your most trusted friends and go looking for Steven. You need to find out where everyone is mysteriously disappearing to. Your mission, you feel, is now to finally solve this mystery that has long plagued the town of Loke Lake.
You don’t find him, but what you do find is a ritual that has been used to summon the Kodi Ki, an ancient creature from a dimension in hell. Do you feel that you are the team for the job?

We were a little disappointed after a strong showing in their other room, the hosts were great but the puzzles were simple and padlock heavy

Logic Box: The mystery of Loke Lake

Overview

This was our third visit to Logic Box before half our team decided to leave the bridgewater area (ruining our Bristol Airport drop off service, but that’s for another argument 🙂 ) It is still quite new due to the pandemic plying a part in not being operational now where near as long as they should have been. We met with owner Tom and he recognised us immediately when we walked in and we caught up on his future plans.

Logic box based in an industrial estate, clearly signposted and with plenty of parking. Briefing given by Tom and Covid rules etc (we visited during pandemic) in a nice big reception area. We were given a scary looking doll and our brief of a missing boy and were led into into the room decorated out as a young boys bedroom.

Room Impression

With us previously coming here to complete the Christmas room that Loke Lake is used for, we knew what to expect from the general layout of the room and what might happen but this did not stop us being fully immersed into the theme with the room decorated out perfectly as a boys bedroom. There was no wear and tear in the room at all being so new and lighting was no problem at all. With it being a disappearance theme, there were some slightly eerie moments but none of them are scary or jumpy so there’s no need to worry about that.

Puzzles

If you like padlocks then you are in luck, there are a few padlocks in this room. However, there are a a good mixture along padlock styles so you are not running around trying codes in every lock. There is also a nice mixture of other puzzles thrown in to break up the padlocks and we did enjoy ourselves moving through them all. The end puzzle was not that surprising but joke the less it was a good ending to the game and the finish gave us a sense of accomplishment.

Games Master Clues

When we needed it, Tom gave us a nudge over a sound system. We managed to get through this room without much need of asking for a helping hand and luckily Tom knew us well enough that’ll hat he just left us to it and pushed us at a certain point that we were struggling to find something.

Round Up

We really enjoyed visiting Logic Box for the third time and being warmly welcomed once again by Tom. This room was really enjoyable and Al the team played their part in getting us out. The room flowed well and the puzzles were nice and challenging without us having to pull our hair out. The room is good for most escape room fans due to the types of puzzles included, with an added spooky element to it. We are looking forward to coming back when Tom has put his stamp on the place as he has so much space here for the future and we look forward to supporting him
