Clarissa had recently become the luckily recipient of Derwent Manor, a period home situated in the middle of endless countryside. The home had belonged to her Great Aunt Martha, a quirky character who had lived a rather secluded life up until her recent passing.
To Clarissa’s surprise, it appears that in recent years the once beautiful property had become somewhat neglected, and work was started to restore the building to it’s former glory. However, it was during these works that it began…
Weird noises could be heard within the property, noises that couldn’t be explained. Upon becoming paranoid, Clarissa decided to try and trace these ‘sounds’, with these noises leading her to what appeared to be a solid wall. Intrigued, a small opening was made in the wall, just to confirm in Clarissa’s mind that there was nothing untoward on the other side.
However those niggling doubts were correct, as what was unearthed was found to be a hidden room in the attic – a hidden room containing nothing but a door that appeared to be welded shut.
It is this door which forms the first part of your investigation – the noises which could be heard are in fact coming from this room, these noises seemingly being of a ‘paranormal’ nature. And so this is why Clarissa has called upon your expertise – as experienced paranormal investigators you have been challenged with gaining access through the door, and once inside examining the hidden contents in order to determine the causes of these ‘disturbances’. What lies beyond the door?

Very original use of paranormal equipment like in Phasmophobia the video game. Story driven immersive room with a lot of vibes from Betrayal the board game. Host was excellent. However be warned it is on the third floor and can get quite warm. Other than that it was a very immersive and superb experience and would 100% go back.
As a team of scaredy-cats, we were a little nervous to take this room on without our usual band of merry scare seekers to do the majority of the scary tasks, but we are so glad that we did! This is one of the best scary/creepy rooms that we have done and would highly recommend to anyone that loves puzzles with a dash of fear! It's rare that you get to play a creepy room that would be just as clever and immersive without the theatrics! Well done to the creators!
Incredible looking room, scary and fully immersive. Matt the owner and host, has done an amazing job with this one and the same with all his rooms. And a lovely guy in general with a real passion for what he does. Puzzles as always, amazing
This game was so much fun! The story and puzzles in the game all worked so well together, an amazing element early on we really liked and some fabulous puzzles and effects.
A little spooky but notched down slighty due to a nervous team member so thank you to Matt for recognising this and reducing the scare but this absolutely doesn't take away from the room.
A great spooky room. Tense enough to keep you on edge but not crazy scary where you're always looking over your shoulder. The puzzles are standard but does have some unique elements.
This was a very immersive room. Some great puzzles and innovations within. Really quite liked the entrance and one of the later puzzles in particular too. The control over some of the tools is a really nice touch too!
I do have a penchant for scary/spooky rooms so this was a real treat for me! Loved the story and the entry to the room was unusual and impressive. The theme carried well throughout the room and the soundtrack and clever use of lighting really enhanced the experience. The hosting was nothing less than great, having played all of the rooms here we have never had anything but lovely service.
Great use of the space. Theming could be a little more immersive but a good job considering it’s an independent build. Great wow moment at the very start of the game. Friendly hosts

I have good memories of Deliverance from my previous trip to Lincoln some years earlier, and was curious to see how well a return visit lived up to those, particularly since Martha is currently the highest rated of their four rooms. The majority of their games have themes that are at least somewhat scary, and this one is a classic paranormal premise, with a sealed attic hiding a dark history.
