I think this game must depend a lot on which avatar actor you get. I've heard from so many who found this to be a breathless and effective horror experience! But the experience I got was...fine. A bit rambling. Some moments where it felt like "...we've been doing this for a while". Some moments where it felt like everything was on rails and there wasn't much we could do to really derail it. Some moments where we weren't sure if we were supposed to be laughing or not. Overall: fine.
I really appreciated the GM and the camera directed avatar for an online escape room experience. However, this game felt a little procedural and scripted. I like the idea of a dungeon crawler, but this game seemed to be more story driven rather than puzzle oriented. It was a little difficult to discern whether horror or comedy was the objective at times. This definitely seems like it is a more intense experience in person, but I'm not sure if it is optimized for the online team.
Brilliantly different and engaging. Not the most complex puzzles in the world, but this game is all about the experience, and the actors. Definitely one to do - you feel like you're in a computer game. Escapism at its best.
If you like immersive horror with crazy sets, action, and multiple characters, this is for you! Although there are puzzles and an escape-room goal, those play second fiddle to the theatrics. Not being a huge horror fan myself, and as someone who really loves puzzles, this wasn't my favorite, but it was still an excellent experience, and I can see why it's rated highly.
As first-person horror video games try to simulate real life, this game does the opposite -- real life trying to simulate a horror video game. That's something that the live version doesn't give you, which makes this a rather unique experience. (Including the video-game trope of often frustratingly having no actual control over the player avatar during "cutscenes".) The area of the space is amazing. Make sure to watch this in a dark room with headphones for the full effect.
There's an interesting item-use mechanic that keeps players involved, but mostly there is >400m² (>4000sqft) of set, multiple actors, over the top special effects, and a summer movie's worth of high octane action scenes. This game starts slow but does nothing but get faster and furiouser throughout its 90 minute runtime. Highly recommended for fans of "realistic" horror.

At the end of the game, we felt like survivors from "Saw". If you are into horror and immersive theater, you don't want to miss this game. It's as REAL as it gets.
Well, I knew that Athens is one of the top destinations for escape world "enthusiasts", but I honestly didn't expect this (and we were not even in the real room)!
