In the 1960's both the USSR and the USA made groundbreaking discoveries on their famous lunar missions. The Americans were the first to step foot on the Moon and the Russians Luna 3 space probe captured and released the first photographs ever taken of the Moon.
However both the Soviet and US governments kept some dark secrets from their missions. Declassified images revealed human activity on the dark side of the moon - the wreckage of a secret Nazi base. Since this new information came to light our own lunar telescopes have monitored the site and shown no activity...... until now. A few days ago, at an abandoned radio station in Berlin, we intercepted a cipher message which was traced back to the secret moon base. It read only one word, "bereit" meaning "ready".
So today you, as our brightest agents, will ascend to the Moon. You need to find the enemy base and destroy what is left of it and anyone you find there. Our intelligence suggests an attack is imminent, you must complete your mission before time runs out.
Are you Ready?

After being disappointed in D.I.V.A., I was braced to have the same reaction to Dark Side of the Moon - although how bad can a game be if it has you battling space nazis? I played on the same team as Sam above, so unsurprisingly my view of the room is closer to his than to Lewis's.

The game's style is more like an action movie than a puzzle game. The team climbs (stairs, not ladders!) and explores, battling enemies along the way. The use of space is fantastic and really feels like you're dashin...

Is this where escape rooms are heading? I hope not in their entirety but I enjoyed this style of experience as something different from your typical escape room. Less emphasis on the puzzles and more on the adventure.
The second of two games at Escape Rooms London’s new venue in Angel, while I praised Project D.I.V.A for swinging for the fences and genuinely exciting me, Dark Side Of The Moon took a similar approach but fell sort of flat. Indeed, this one ventures even further from what you might traditionally understand as an escape room. Or put another way: it’s even more batshit crazy.
The last Escape Room company we visited during our “Time Run” London weekend was the new venue by Escape Rooms London called Escape Rooms Angel. They already have a location with different rooms at London Bridge. We decided to go for the new, futuristic themed Escape Rooms and take on a fight against an evil A.I. […]
At the end of WWII, the Nazis went On the Run to the Great Gig in the Sky - er, a moon base, that is. It's just Us and Them, so Breathe in the Air as we enter their headquarters and try to Eclipse their evil plans in Time!
One of London’s newest rooms, sadly disappointed us with the theme and with a mechanical breakdown that terminated our game part way through. I suspect they’ll get over the teething problems in due course, but few of the puzzles made sense much less indicated what to do, and this isn’t saved by the amazing technology, set design, and build.
