Escape Peterborough: The Bank Heist

A nice bank heist game with lots of short, quick fire puzzles. Nearly everything worked well but a broken piece of equipment cost us about 20 mins in time! 

Tech was broken in room and when we could go further we asked for help. No one answered so one of us walked out of the room, down the corridor to the bar to ask for help. Staff stood around talking and not engaged. Poor

This was a break in instead of break out. There were several (3?) broken puzzles which we weren't informed of. One the GM triggered when we got to the puzzle but that then made it seem like we accidentally solved something instantly. One meant we wasted time and the last meant they'd placed an essential item to crack one vault into another vault which we didn't access but would have been able to if it had been in the place the GM said it was usually.

We enjoyed ourselves but it could have been better.

Another great room that is now sadly closed. This game is based on how much money you can steal in the 1 hour limit. We managed the full amount as a 4...as a 2 we may have struggled. The adrenaline rush from robbing the vault was fun. 

Our GM Garry was a hoot!

A nice enough set, but not a great room overall. Pretty illogical with some non existent signposting leading to some very frustrating vault opening at the end. Some props that either didn't work at all, or clearly used to work but were now just part of the scenery. 

Found this really quite frustrating. Some simple signposting would help a lot.
