During this limited time, you need to be careful, because the security guard might check the room, where you are expecting to find the diamond, so you need to hide yourselves when you can hear his steps!

This is a beautiful, classic Escape Room with great hosts and a couple of amusing surprises, so it was definitely fun. My understanding is this room is being retired now, to make room for a new one, so I won't say much more, but please don't judge the company on this review! Go check out their new room, whatever it may be and whenever it opens!

Ex(c)iting Games' second room is refreshingly well-lit, a relief after Warehouse. It also has a novel twist: in the briefing we were warned that a security guard might sometimes look into the room, so when we heard footsteps we had ten seconds to hide. Getting caught by the guard incurs a five minute penalty.
Like their Warehouse game, this uses a fairly small room. The decor is a little better here - it had to be, since this time we could see it clearly! - though still at the level of mock-bri...
The second room we played at Exciting Game Oxford, on the plus side I did not find myself fearing for our safety as we played the game. The decor was definitely an improvement, although torn wallpaper and a cracked mirror left the place looking mildly dilapidated, some ok puzzles, but nothing worth raving about. I would personally not lose any sleep if this room ceased to exist.
