Mexico City, 1948. The Aztec people believe that long ago the eye of their sun god, Huitzilopochtli, was cast into a great lake, showing them where to build their empire.
The eye, if it was ever considered to be more than a myth, was presumed lost during the Spanish Conquest, but recent expeditions in Mexico’s southern jungles seem to imply that it is, indeed, real – and was purposefully hidden from the invading Spanish!
Of course, it is not the literal eye of a god, but a huge yellow diamond of a kind rarely found in the Americas. It has taken months to find the place, but the pyramid which is believed to hold the gem is behind a cleverly sealed door.
It’s up to you to find the diamond and see it is placed safely in the Museum of Mexico. But you must hurry, a cadre of Russian treasure seekers is on the way, hoping to steal the diamond for their own profit. You must not let that happen; the Eye of the Sun God belongs to Mexico!

Nice room visually, but one puzzle towards the end didn't really make sense.
An Eye for an Eye
For my birthday, I did an escape room marathon (5 rooms in one day) starting with this one!
Story
Find the diamond.
Puzzles
Entertaining enough, but easy to work out- on the verge of rudimentary.
Mise en scene
The room itself gave engaging Aztec/jungle vibes.
Final Comments
My team of 4 absolutely smashed it in just over half an hour with 0 hints.
The positive: the room is pretty well themed, the staff are very nice and friendly!
The negative:
Entire final room was broken, parts were not properly reset and closed.
Our hosts didn’t realise even after we informed them of this, we were clearly not being watched throughout. Took 3 mins to get hosts attention.
This game was short, even if it had all been working as a team of two we would have finished with 20+ minutes to spare.
Very expensive, for a team of two £30 per person we expect a very high standard comparable to some of the UKs highest TERPECCA rated rooms, take Macclesfields escape quest which has similar pricing but is worth every penny unlike here.
It took over a month and 3 attempts to receive any reply from the company who did eventually refund but claimed to have not received the first two attempts despite being given a managers email by the hosts and using the general enquiries email on the website.
We got the sense that as this is a chain the attention to detail and care is not the same as it would be in locally owned rooms.
