Mexico City, 1948. The Aztec people believe that long ago the eye of their sun god, Huitzilopochtli, was cast into a great lake, showing them where to build their empire.
The eye, if it was ever considered to be more than a myth, was presumed lost during the Spanish Conquest, but recent expeditions in Mexico’s southern jungles seem to imply that it is, indeed, real – and was purposefully hidden from the invading Spanish!
Of course, it is not the literal eye of a god, but a huge yellow diamond of a kind rarely found in the Americas. It has taken months to find the place, but the pyramid which is believed to hold the gem is behind a cleverly sealed door.
It’s up to you to find the diamond and see it is placed safely in the Museum of Mexico. But you must hurry, a cadre of treasure seekers is on the way, hoping to steal the diamond for their own profit. You must not let that happen; the Eye of the Sun God belongs to Mexico!

we did a puzzle at it took the host 10 mins to see we had done it
Good Room, very atmospheric, our team struggled a bit with the last section (possibly that was on us rather than the room!) Host was very friendly and engaging giving us useful hints when needed.
The positive: the room is pretty well themed, the staff are very nice and friendly!
The negative:
Entire final room was broken, parts were not properly reset and closed.
Our hosts didn’t realise even after we informed them of this, we were clearly not being watched throughout. Took 3 mins to get hosts attention.
This game was short, even if it had all been working as a team of two we would have finished with 20+ minutes to spare.
Very expensive, for a team of two £30 per person we expect a very high standard comparable to some of the UKs highest TERPECCA rated rooms, take Macclesfields escape quest which has similar pricing but is worth every penny unlike here.
It took over a month and 3 attempts to receive any reply from the company who did eventually refund but claimed to have not received the first two attempts despite being given a managers email by the hosts and using the general enquiries email on the website.
We got the sense that as this is a chain the attention to detail and care is not the same as it would be in locally owned rooms.
This was better than we expected- there’s not a lot of build up but you can just get on with the puzzles, there was one that we lost a bunch of time on at the end just because we didn’t realise what we needed to do. Overall fun
It was alright.
Some of the puzzles were good and felt original; however, most of them we found rather easy. We didn't feel like the hosting was great, and it was a shame. We did leave a bit underwhelmed and feeling like we didn't get our money's worth, as we were out of the room quite quickly and felt a bit let down.
The designs of the room were good and felt somewhat immersive. However, it's definitely more of a family-type escape room or for those who haven't done any escape rooms before.
First game at Sheffield Escape Hunt, and impressed with set up and puzzles. However due to interference on microphone, and sound cutting out, we picked up a significant hint much later than we should have. In fact the GM ended up having to come into the room to tell us when she realised we couldnt tell what she was saying. Teething troubles I'm sure for this new venue, look forward to doing the other games soon.
