This is the first ever escape room I have done. It was a unique birthday present for me. Again you watch a quick safety video and are briefed on the story of the room as well. There were four of us making up the party that day. I was the oldest member of the group. It really makes you think. In other words, this definitely sharpens your thinking skills for sure.
We had sixty minutes only to find things and successfully escape the room. There were lots of puzzles to solve which is quite good for your brain additionally. And did I love it? The answer is a resounding yes definitely. I definitely recommend this escape room. If you are wanting to do something different, book a escape room.
I guarantee you will love it certainly. This is a unique birthday present and is far better than going to the cinema, partying in a night club or having a birthday meal in a expensive restaurant. We all loved it. At the end we posed for a group picture. Best birthday present ever seriously. What is not to love?
I have done around 100 rooms and this experience was easily in my worst 5! Its so frustrating as they bought a reasonable game from another company but have let it fall apart, poorly reset it between groups and the GM'ing was next level bad!
To start with the GM was the worst we have ever encountered by a long way. His level of English was quite low and even the initial briefing was terrible, He said basically don't use a phone and do some puzzles. He told us how many other areas/rooms we would later discover! The briefing was so hard to understand due to his English levels. I asked a question and he did'nt understand it and answered with something else completely. During the game we asked for help with a puzzle as it made no sense and we could not get an answer from him for over 5mins so he was obviously not watching the game at all. His clue made no sense at all so we just gave up with him in the end. At the end when he re-appeared he didnt seem to understand we were annoyed at how the game had played out, offered us no finishing time or anything like that. Someone in this role needs a good level of English to run games.
The room itself was once quite nice but its now in urgent need of work. So many things are broken, worn out and damaged in the room. The room was also not properly reset, there was one wooden puzzle left fully complete, one door was left unlocked and at least one other part obviously missing from the game. There is just no excuse for that sort of lack of effort.
Its a real shame as it had potential but is obviously being run as a sideline to the hotel and its done in such terrible format its embarassing. Worst room I have done for many many years now.
First room here, a decent standard escape room, if you have done loads of rooms, this won't impress you much but its decent with no major flaws or anything like that. Good hosting, however when we finished, we just kind of re appeared back into the hall, and the game master had not noticed this and I had to go back in the room to use the clue request system to tell them we had finished, which was a little strange.
Will be back to do the others.
Great variety of puzzles and some really fun reveals. Beautifully put together and quite tricky in parts too.
I wish I'd played this game a lot later in my escape room career and that I'd also known about the extra 30 minutes that you could have got. Thought it was an excellent room, but at the time there was just too much to do. I think we'd definitely get on with it much better with 200+ rooms under my belt. I remember there being something pretty cool in this room that I've only seen once since.

The Cabin in the Woods, the second game at Escape From The Room, continues the venue's horror story theme. Moving from a haunted bedroom to the hut of a suspected witch, the players are again paranormal investigators, this time investigating the disappearance of a colleague.
The game is played in a genuine wooden cabin. Escape From The Room is based out of a house in the suburbs of South London, and the cabin is in the garden. Some suspension of disbelief is needed here: this cabin is all a bit...
