As plenty of women go missing in both the town and its surroundings, frightened locals start to suspect that these events are somehow related to an old, abandoned hotel on a hill by the forest. According to folk tales about the area, the spot where the Victorian boarding house was built has been possessed by evil for centuries. Due to that, no citizen of Sinwood has ever come near the place… Finally, you arrive at the front gate. The porch, in the dim light of a dusty lantern, makes you feel overwhelmed by a whirl of conflicting emotions as you’re both curious and… suddenly anxious. Still, you decide to set foot in the building and face the evil lurking inside. However, before you even touch the old brass door knocker, you suddenly hear a voice of a woman calling you from within the hotel walls…

Fantastic experience, beautiful set and clever use of space. Story brought to life through the puzzles and interactions with the live actor who did a fantastic job (non-verbal). Highly recommend.
We can see why this room has won so many awards. Do not underestimate the scale of this room and the use of space. This is the most immersive room we have ever done and at 101 minutes was great value for money. The use of live actors is very different to what we've experienced before and added to the immersion. This set a very high bar for us in terms of what escape rooms can be. Well done Exit 19 for creating constantly excellent rooms and blurring the lines between an immersive experience and an escape room!
5 stars isn't enough for this incredible boundary pushing game. Insane attention to detail, huge space, great story. Games like this are extraordinarily rare. Just wow.

At time of writing Abandoned Hotel is not yet officially open; we were lucky enough to be the first non-test group to try it. There were a number of really excellent games that I played on this visit to Poland, the best of which compare well to the strongest games in the UK. Even so, Abandoned Hotel stood out as the best of the 35 games on the trip, with a clear margin between it and the nearest rivals.
