We had a blast in this room! The room itself had a good sense of humor, and going in knowing the video was all prerecorded, we leaned in and generated some humorous moments of our own as a result.

Very interesting new medium - live splicing of prerecorded video with a live voice guide. I didn't think the gameplay made particularly good use of the medium though, as we were told "no" to far too many common actions and it felt like a very artificially constrained exploration space.

Uses prerecorded video with a live audio host, but plays very much like an avatar room. I thought it was very well done and has cute puzzles that take advantage of the medium (but others didn't like it as much).

I was immediately intrigued not just by Crimson Fang's trailer but by the fact that Castle Escapes are building games specifically for remote play, not adapting existing physical rooms. Playing via a conference call inevitably compromises the escape room experience in a number of ways, but also has potential to allow inventive creators to add interestingly novel elements that wouldn't be possible in person.

The Hunt for the Crimson Fang was completely bonkers (but in a good way). Of course, with a name for the operation like The Nocturnal Underground Tactical Squad, we really should have been prepared for this, after all, what sort of covert operation gives themselves the name NUTS?
