Very unique and impressive avator-driven game that is a pretty great integration of technology and Zoom, with seamless video overlays, cut scenes, and more. It even had a good sense of humor which is rare is escape games and always appreciated. Plus it's a large space and a 2 hour game, which I like a lot. I would almost certainly given this a 5, but both my wife and I were sick for the rest of the evening due to motion sickness from the first person perspective, and I can't bring myself to give top marks to a game that literally made me ill. (Some may also feel the price point of $200 per team is a dealbreaker for an online experience, but I generally don't consider cost in my evaluation of a game.)

Believe the video game hype, like Catacombs, you come here for the experience, not the puzzles. I certainly felt like I was missing my controller at one point (I suffered with motion sickness at one stage which is a first). It's a slick operation they are polishing, I'm not sure if this is an escape room as we know them, it almost needs its own category.

I was expecting this to be more adventure than escape room, but what I wasn't expecting was the pure unadulterated video game vibe throughout. Your adventure starts with a slick movie trailer introduction which could easily grace any cinema, and then you were straight into the action as you uploaded into your avatar who was rapidly moving through an urban environment.
The entire adventure made me reminiscent of Assassins Creed and Mirrors Edge, but without being a blatent copy. Theres a banging sountrack that fits with the activity you're currently in and the entire game area is HUGE!
Possibly one of the most OMG! moments is the amoutn of damamge and carnage you can create, you can destroy so much. It was a real rollercoaster of a ride and as long as you don't mind the puzzles taking a supporting role here thenyou'll have a blast!

There are now quite a number of avatar-based remote play games available around the world. Project Avatar is not like the others. For a start, this isn't an existing escape room adapted for play over the internet; it's constructed as a new experience designed for this format. If I had to use one word to describe this experience it would be ‘bonkers’. This was a whirlwind from start to end and was a lot more fun than I expected it to be. If you can get over the very high price point, then it is worth giving it a try just to experience something different

Regardless, this game was nothing we've seen before on the market right now. We highly recommend giving it a try!
