Another superb game by Puzzlepunks: we played it online with Bodgan as our GM and avatar. Fun but challenging and varied puzzles and the whole storyline is stunningly well integrated with real history, wow!! Absolutely recommended, either IRL or online. (We are a couple from Finland, have played over 70 rooms around the world)
Yeah, what egnor said. I'm not that much into history and so this was just an above-average room. My wife really loved the historical touches though, so if she was writing this review the room would get 4 stars at least.
+1 point for historical basis (and a host who loves to narrate history), if you're not into that this probably a 3-point room (relatively simple, but quite well constructed with good puzzle flow and signposting).
Puzzle Punks other room is a history tour of Dubrovnik that is both fun and educational. We were in a museum trying to find hidden treasure and 'Ivan' was our Avatar. A series of high tech and old style puzzles await, with each clue being delivered with a nugget of real history. Very enjoyable but it's not easy and can be quite devious at times.
A simpler room, but filled with history and intrigue and still managed to pack in a few surprises thanks to the use of tech. Our guide, Ivan, did a great job in bringing the theme to life
We will be in telepathicaly connected to Ser Dontos. This historian
wants to prove to the others that there is an ancient treasure hidden in
the office of the director of the city museum. For this he needs our
help (it is our superior intelligence that interests him... no comment
about that).

...a fairly decent room, if not particularly impressive, made into a better online experience through the use of a website from which players can check the room, and its contents, on their own. The room puts a big focus on the historical angle, providing many interesting details on what once was "the Free State of Ragusa".
