This room was incredibly slick, it had some great tech that was integrated throughout and really personalised the game for the team.
The game definitely wasn’t designed for three players and while they made some clever adaptations it was certainly a rush to make sure we got everything done. Kept us on our toes though!
Lovely ending with a nice prize which was much appreciated amongst our team.
Fantastic hosting! Unfortunately, we didn’t catch our host’s name, but she was easily the best GM of our entire trip. We loved being assigned our little roles—I’ll forever be known as the Yeast Master of Birmingham thanks to her! We had an absolute blast and really enjoyed the unique theme.
The game flowed seamlessly, and what stood out the most was how pristine everything felt. It was like we were the first people to ever play—no signs of wear, and everything was in top condition. One puzzle, in particular, had me feeling sorry for the GM, having to reset it every time!
This room offers a great mix of logic, dexterity (which, let’s be honest, was not our strong point at all 😂😂), and fun tech moments. The system was flawless, and there was loads to do as a group of three—I’d definitely recommend four or more for the best experience.
I can see why this room gets so much hype, and it definitely lived up to expectations!
There is no doubt that this game is a top game, with a nice storyline and a very clever combination of tech and personalisation that is something I've never seen in an escape room before; we had a great time, we enjoyed the process and we appreciated the fine craftsmanship of the entire experience. Saying this, however, we didn't quite gel with the flow of the gameplay at times but we think that might be down to personal style - we love a puzzlefest and that's not what The Brewery is. What it is, however, is really delightful, very immersive and beautifully done, with very friendly staff and the chance to taste the fruits of your efforts at the end. Certainly a must-play.
What. A. Room! Completely immersive, fantastic use of tech, brilliant sign posting. 0 clues but only escaped with 10 minutes to spare!! A must do if visiting Barcelona!
Let me start by saying I may have expected too much from this room with it being so highly rated in the TORPECA awards.
We found this room frustrating more than anything, once you got out the initial room (which is really cool). One of the puzzles didnt quite make sense to us, and there seemed to be multiple choices for some puzzles and sort of guess work. This may have been user error, as we didnt get chance to chat afterwards as we headed straight to another room elsewhere.
Now the negative is out of the way, I would like to say its a very clever room (ideally need 4 players) and its BEAUTIFUL! Some really good puzzles and some good mixture of physical stuff and mental. Even though I didnt think it was amazing, id still say its a must do when visiting Barcelona

Those cynical about corporate sponsorship might be dubious about a game built for the Estrella brand of beer. Suspend any doubts you might have: The Brewery is an exquisitely polished escape room that shines with quality at every step in every way.
