Good room, with a local theme, which is a nice touch.  Not too atmospheric at first sight, but appearances are deceiving.  Early reliance on padlocks changes to more unique puzzles later.  No physical dexterity required and some searching, but not too much.  Four or more players definitely an advantage.  Great hosting with nicely judged hints, only nudging gently when we failed to examine something properly.

Hidden Gem

The puzzles were really the highlight of Escape The Castle, which is perfect for an escape room. They had some really cool pieces of tech and some hidden gems. The attention is in the detail and we love places that can make clues and answers blend in to the background. We were left stumped so many times but were staring the answer in the face more times than not. With a few funny elements added in for humour value and a great range of logical and team work based puzzles, it comes together quite nicely. The flow made sense in the room and we knew what the next step needed to be more times than not, with only one blip from our end. With that said, it has plenty to keep you busy for any team size, from us as a duo to a full team of 6!
