Our box (previously unopened) was missing probably the most important card in the set...

Posted in r/games and someone sent a photo of the card but with the dimensions (viewing it on a phone) being different to the other cards and having to line things up etc, this was completely unsolvable. Big let down

This is a split the party, no real spoilers here, while it is set for a higher player count it still works with a few players. Clever end game

We played as a 2 which made the game harder. Would have been much easier with 4. That being said we both enjoyed it and there were some unique elements.

The Unlock! games continue to surprise and impress me at how much they manage to do purely with a deck of cards. First they managed to re-introduce search as a major part of the game (though there's much less of that here than in the first two), and with their third scenario they add in communication-based puzzles.

Interestingly, this game has you split into two. We played it with just two people, which was a little tricky at the start – we weren’t exactly sure what we could and couldn’t say to each other, or who had to make the next move. But the game play was massively rewarding with “Aha!” moments throughout and a huge feeling of satisfaction when we finally did reunite towards the end.

The Island of Dr. Goorse has done a terrific job with its resources. This game pushed the bounds with its creativity, and the results speak for themselves.

It's safe to say we didn't particularly enjoy this one. The gameplay was difficult for the sake of it rather than because it needed it and therefore we lost interest. The concept of being split and unable to communicate with the other half of your team is interesting but not enough to save this game.
