Unfortunately this room really didn’t have a lot going for it. I play as a two with my wife and I enjoy working together on puzzles. However in this room you are separated for a large majority of the game.
There was a large piece of tech in the room that required both of you to work together but it was broken and as it was out of action, there was a work around which had less of a co-op nature. The other co op bits you could do alone, and the quality of the build just seemed average at best. It felt as though the puzzles you were solving were being remotely triggered when you solved them and the tech/build was of a lower standard.
I felt the room massively lacked puzzles, but maybe it felt this way because you were in separate rooms for a long time so you were only looking at 1/2 the puzzles. But even so I really didn’t rate the room, or the variety of puzzles, or lack there of. With one puzzle, how you would know to solve it without any sort of guidance is beyond me!
Overall, disappointing, minimal theming, lacking a variety of puzzles and if it wants for the fact we had 30% off, it would have not been great value for money.
As for the staff, very friendly and positive. I like to debrief with them after however we didn’t really do this much. I must admit I prefer attending rooms from solo companies and not chains, as I feel it’s nice to chat and get to know the staff as they seem more passionate about the rooms they’re building and creating.
Very plain room, not much physically there. The puzzles were rather strange, and it didn't seem to flow very well. They also thought we'd booked for a different game, so we had to wait while they prepared the room we'd actually booked.
Theming: 2/10
Puzzles: 3/10

Value: 2/10
Fun: 2/10
Overall: 2/10

The most stand-out thing about Da Vinci was how very typical it was, without either glaring flaws or many compelling reasons to choose it over another of London's games.
It uses a smallish room, with decent but simple decorations - lots of padlocked furniture with faux-bookshelf wallpaper. Puzzles are almost entirely linear, and make extensive use of laminated paper clues. The Masonic theme is followed consistently but with a great deal of escape room logic, and while none of the puzzles were t...
