Second room played and our first room that appeared non-linear. We struggled to find a good starting point and didn’t feel it flowed. We may have found it easier if not for our inexperience at the time

Pleasantly surprised with this game, lots to do and looks fairly well themed.

Really enjoyed playing this one - the host was fantastic and the music made it so intense!

Really enjoyed outbreak. Some cleverly used puzzles and there was just enough to do.

Some good theming, quite immersive with puzzles that made sense in the environment. Good classic escape room.

Fun enough. Typical franchise fare.

I have to be honest, this was quite disappointing. When you hear ‘zombie theme’, there could be endless possibilities - instead, what we got was a room that mainly takes place in a corner shop, with rather uninspired puzzles. A shame when the concept sounded cool, it would be alright if you’ve never done an escape room before but I wouldn’t personally recommend this.
Shop Til You
Drop (Dead)
My final of four rooms in the same day. I couldn't have handled any more- my
brain was mush!
Story
Searching an abandoned shop for supplies during a zombie apocalypse, the undead
have been alerted to your presence. Break out before they break in!
Puzzles
A wide variety; some in particular tied in perfectly to the environment, and
this was maintained throughout our puzzling journey. We needed hints for one or
two of them.
Mise-en-scene
Brilliant! It had everything your nearest corner shop has, as well as all the
added touches to make it look apocalyptically-ransacked. The lack of lighting
heightened the sense of danger, as did the nearby zombie moans. Every major and
minor details was covered.
Final Comments
We got out of this one with fourteen minutes to spare. It was an enjoyable room
with the odd tense moment that would probably be enjoyed more in a group of
four.
