Over the past year, a sadistic and calculated Organised Crime Group have been terrorising the city, committing violent crimes and cold blooded murders. Confident of stopping them, through ‘Operation Deliverance’ you and your unit have been on their tails, taking down key members of the OCG. However it is believed the lead member of this group, the person responsible for dictating these criminal acts, is still at large.
It is believed this individual goes by the name of ‘The Assassin’. The OCG’s crimes to date have left us with very little evidence as to who their leader could be…that was until their latest offence. Seemingly wanting to get away in a hurry, a vital piece of evidence had been left near the scene, and using this evidence we believe that we have located The Assassin’s Hideaway…an old abandoned oil warehouse in a disused industrial park on the edge of the city.
With your preparation complete, the time has come…Your team are set to raid this factory in the hope of tracking down The Assassin, making the arrest and ending the OCG’s reign of terror. You know you’ll need to be vigilant – given his actions you’ve witnessed this far chances are he may have left some surprises to trap any unwanted visitors. Do you and your team have what it takes to take him down?

Theming and hosting was incredible - great plot. Some novel padlocks and mechanical elements which were really nice to see. Puzzles were good too. If I had to nitpick I would say that a live actor warning should be explicitly displayed on website as I am a total wuss and hate anything horror-based - nevertheless still really enjoyed the atmosphere! Accessibility also potentially an issue for some - crawling required and some heavy lifting/lifting at height necessary. Be careful as potential for trips and slips quite high as the room does get quite chaotic. Highly recommend!
Our favorite of the 7 rooms we've done to date. Brilliant hosting as always from matt. So much to do! It just keeps on going and going, and the puzzles are brilliant and not all the same. Less immersive than cabin or Martha, but the puzzles and scenery are still absolutely brilliant, making it as stated, our favorite and most recommended room if your thing is the puzzle solving aspect. Thanks again Matt, we hope to see some more of your rooms in the future!
The theming at Deliverance is something I will remember all the rooms for but this one in particular was brilliant. Loved the setting, loved the whole feel of the room and it was as imagined upon hearing the game story and brief.
Some very clever puzzles which we really enjoyed and a cheeky fun ending.
Highly Recommend.
The set design here was fantastic and different to many we’ve tried before. Really well done. A few good mechanics too that were well adapted to the room.
You can tell Matt has put a lot of effort into his rooms and it shows - will keep an eye on this venue as would happily go do any others that might appear in future.
This is a great room - interesting story and a really well-themed room. Props are great and really fit the theme. Creepy atmosphere and great use of lighting/sound to enhance the immersion. Puzzles are varied and clever with no long pauses searching fruitlessly, this room flows really well. A great host as we have come to expect from this venue and the rooms here are all high quality and great value for money too.
Original in its storyline connection to The Cabin. Great independent place. Friendly host

Although you can play it stand-alone, Hideaway is a direct sequel to Deliverance’s first game Cabin In The Woods, and their website encourages you not to read the game description if you want to avoid spoilers for the previous game. Your role is no longer as lost hikers but as law enforcement officers, attempting to apprehend the same antagonist we encountered in Cabin.
This time the theming is a garage environment, full of tools and cranks and pieces of cars. And it feels convincing, sometimes...
