A nice pirate room with a lot of immersive decor that makes you believe for a moment that you are truly onboard a ship.

There was a lot of interesting puzzles and tech, and when everything works it's an absolute pleasure.

Thoroughly enjoyed this game - these rooms have either been totally overhauled or are in the process of being and the new management are obviously escape room enthusiasts themselves. Great hosting from Gem who was happy to chat about all things escape room and kept a watchful eye on proceedings to provide subtle clues when needed without us needing to throw a wobbly at the camera (there is no audio available to the GM).

Really well themed and good fun, definitely worth a trip to the seaside to play and an absolute steal of a price.

The UK's largest escape room franchise has been busy this year, with new branches popping up across the country. In London they've added a branch in Shadwell to the existing one in West London to double the number of games on offer. Seven Seas is one of the new additions, and uses a pirate theme.

A pretty game with some fun puzzles, but our enjoyment was severely impaired by the ambiguity of a couple of solutions. If you get easily frustrated, you should definitely steer clear of this experience but if not, then there's definitely some fun to be had.

If you’ve done rooms at Escape Peterborough before then this room will be nothing like them. They’ve really upped their game with this room and the only rival for it there is The Cabin. Good theming, decent puzzles (although padlock heavy), but swash-buckling fun

As well as a really nice set, Escape The Seven Seas really ticked all the pirate-y boxes. Puzzles and props were very much on theme, with good, sensible tasks included that didn’t feel like forced Escape Room Logic. When you’ve played a string of games from the same genre, it can start to feel a little repetitive, but there’s plenty here that felt fresh and challenging without straying from the pirate essentials.

Initial impressions as we walked in the room; it was well decorated and themed, creating an authentic atmosphere.Initially you start off in two split locked spaces, searching around for what you need to get out, communicating all the while between the groups.
