Cluetopia Braintree

Lots to do in this fun festive game. Some clever ideas throughout. 

Another fab room from Cluetopia,  we really enjoyed this room was good fun.    We are absolutely massive fans of all of their rooms and this one did not disappoint. Some really cool innovative puzzles in here.  

Another great thing about Cluetopia's rooms is that even as a team of 4 there is rarely nothing to do. There's always a different challenge and we often find ourselves pairing off to pursue completely different routes.

A linear christmas game that interestingly features a second room in case of advanced players (which apparently we were).  The game is fun but nothing special.

The game is themed well but this game left me a little cold, there's a couple of puzzles where the signposting off and we had to be nudged back onto course, I preferred the second half to the first but a little disappointed after all the positive reviews that have been posted.

Overall a reasonable escape room for the family.

Two rooms. Lots of puzzles. One of the puzzles we solved ahead of time by accidentally using a prop that coincidentally did the same thing that we were supposed to unlock later (sorry if that’s not clear - trying not to give out spoilers!). 

It was family friendly and our 8 year old even got some of the clues faster than we did so that was a great aspect - he was able to genuinely contribute. 

There were aspects of the game design that could be improved upon e.g. storyline doesn’t match with the ending really. I feel locked boxes just on the floor isn’t that inventive - could they have been presents under a tree for example? 

We still had fun though, recommend as a Christmas family activity. 

What an absolutely quackers game with a unique theme and great set. Lovely hosting as usual 

A really well themed and clever room, the puzzles were very much on point. 
We thoroughly enjoyed it. Great for teams of all sizes and for new and experienced escapers.
