Handmade Mysteries Bermondsey

Didn't get on with this at all. The tech ran out of battery as we were half way round and they had to come out and find us with a charged up tablet...

Overall enjoyed playing this game GM was generally good, however, it does feel that a lot of the clue pieces and props had been inherited from when the game under Handmade Mysteries and could do with a refresh. It was also far too dark at times, making the game excessively difficult, I don't mind difficult puzzles at all, but puzzles shouldn't be difficult because you can't see properly what you are doing.

The gamesmaster deserves a lot of applause for their performance with this room, firstly staying in character from start to finish and an unexpected but brilliant twist at the end! We were greeted in the pub by our wind up doll gamesmaster and taken to the games workshop full of fun and nostalgic themeing. Immersive, clever and definitely fun room. I believe Houdini's Southampton have now taken over/merged with handmade mysteries so definitely book this room now it's back for all to enjoy!
