Wow what can I say. Jason has made an absolutely incredible multi-linear game here, cramming more puzzles into one room than I could have possibly imagined. More than enough to keep you in the room for the full 60 minutes, but knowing you have to get out before then keeps the pressure on! Some incredibly clever uses of items, codes, furniture and information to lead you on multiple paths through this fiendish vault of treasure. We did very well as a two, getting out with £33k. On arrival we had a fantastic intro to the experience, the humour and energy that Jason brings to the experience is awesome, and the "accomplishments" he awards you are sublime. I would say that some things were looking a little tired in the room and/or were not operating optimally, but it didn't really hamper the game. With all the will in the world I truly hope this experience opens up again in a new location with refreshed interior and when it does you must go do it.
As always Jason has delivered a fabulously clever room. He has some fab puzzles and often surprises me and trips us up. I love that this is again non linear meaning we can split up and do lots of different puzzles and compare stories afterward and potentially play again as we saw lots of different things.
Jasons hosting is always on point, he gets into character and fully embraces the escape room experience. With this being in an actual Bank Vault it is really authentic and such fun to play and so different to other Heist games out there.
Our side mission score - 55,000.
This room was good fun and there were plenty of puzzles to keep us busy for the whole 60 minutes. We unlocked the door pretty early on but then chose to stay in the room and complete more puzzles to boost our side objective score. There's a fantastic range of puzzles of varying difficulties that make the room accessible to all teams from beginner to expert. I do however have 2 criticisms... The room is very small! With a team of 4 it was very tight and we were constantly in each other's way. I believe this was moved here from Peterborough where it was in a bigger room, but here it just feels cramped and more like an office than a bank vault. My other issue was that there are a lot of red herrings. The GM afterwards told us that it's set up in a way to let them add in more puzzles at a later date but this just added extra confusion to the game as it is, such as finding codes for locks that don't exist.
