I was a little hesitant with booking this game knowing that many mentioned the puzzles let down the overall quality and experience of the game. However, this wasn’t the case for us. We loved this room. It is so cinematic, transporting you to another world and immersed in the magic. There are a couple of breathtaking moments that would rival most experiences we have been lucky to have in playing escape rooms across the world.
The puzzles are certainly not its strongest element but made sense to me and we could work it out without too much prompting. The way they have constructed the room is top notch.
We personally didn’t get too dirty but can see why some people do.
Breathtaking set design and incredible value for money. They’ve truly pushed the boundaries of what can be classed as an escape room as we felt like we were in another realm. The puzzles were very well suited for the majority with one or two puzzles becoming difficult due to loud background music/sound effects. Make sure you wear clothes that can/will get dirty/damp!

Multiple GM-intros made this game feel like a while for it to get started, but that's fine as the experience is long and you are not penalised. I have not done an indoor escape room with real plants, which means real mud. That's great. Being forced to crawl through muddy parts to complete the puzzles, not such a fan.
It's huge. But one puzzle I loath in all escape rooms is having to go back and forawrd to find something, only to be told where it is because it cannot be found,
In my notes I said that it would be unfair to leave this game a review of 4 or lower. I have had more time to think about it, and the phrase "an amazing set does not excuse poor gameplay" keeps ringing in my ears.
As a rule of thumb, dinosaur themes are good silly fun, and involve plenty of suspension of disbelief. After all, it’s a pretty tall order to convince a group of players that they’re not just in some room solving puzzles, but exploring a tropical rainforest inhabited by gigantic extinct creatures; but with good will and imagination, some rubber foliage and plastic dinos can go a long way.
Golden Pop’s game is a much more ambitious take - this is the kind of dino escape room that Spielberg might...
